This was the perfect place to take our student son turning 21 together with parents and grandparents. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Well cooked food from menu that has enough variety but not too ambitious. Portions plentiful. Nice relaxed atmosphere with great service. Much more than a pub, a really nice restruarant experience.

We stayed at The Globe for a night, and it was a very enjoyable stay. I will mention the slight negatives first, which are the car park, only in use in the Winter I believe, and a challenge to get in/out of! Despite the best efforts of the staff, I still got blocked in by a selfish fellow guest meaning...

The Globe was warm and very welcoming when we arrived for our booking. We were taken to a lovely table and the server was prompt to get our drinks order and explain the specials available. I had a specific question about an option on the menu which was dealt with without making me feel fussy or difficult and the four...

We stayed for 1 night in January, room was very comfortable and recently refurbished, the staff and hospitality were excellent and our evening meal and breakfast both 10 out of 10. We will be highly recommending to all our friends. Lovely central location for topsham and easy access to lovely walking and cycle paths.

We visited the Globe last night for a works night out, we have been here on a number of occasions with work. The food as always was very nice, no problems on that score and the service was good. What we are very disappointed with is - this is now the third consecutive occasion where we have been over charged....

Dear Woodesclan1 Thank you for your review regarding your visit to the Globe restaurant on Saturday 31st January. We were sorry to hear that you were charged for a bottle of wine rather than a glass of wine. Please accept our sincere apologies for this. The team member needs to remember to select the glass size required first otherwise the...

The Globe is a delightful old inn and its menu is very attractive. I had lunch with a friend, and we both decided on the steak and kidney pie, which was beautifully presented with smooth mash, green beans and a dinky little pot of amazing red wine jus. The pie was the best I have ever had - well-shaped, well-flavoured...

A warm welcome, with excellent and much needed coffee in the bar adjacent to reception. The rooms, which have an external entrance from the rear, are newly built/adapted and well fitted out within the constraints of a very old building. The bars and restaurant exude warmth and the service was first rate. The menu was extensive and catered for all...

A beautiful little hotel, really helpful staff, beautiful rooms and bathrooms, a nice outside space to gather/relax, all very well presented, traditional, but stylish, well-kept and all in full working order! I didn't go in the bar, but I would have if I had had more time. I was given a room near my friends, which I appreciated. I stayed...

We had a three night stay at the Globe in Topsham over the New Year period, it was truly fab, the staff were wonderful, the food excellent and it was so comfy, one of the best New Years in ages. The Hotel didnt put on a Gala Night on New Years Eve which was great and suited our party fine,...

We arrived at The Globe Topsham for a stop off treat before continuing on to Rock in Cornwall for New Year's Eve. The staff were really nice and accommodating, and pointed us in the direction of a nearby car park since their car park was full. Drop a fellow traveller off with your bags and park at Holman Way Car...
