It might be a small menu for the lunchtime special but WOW! Amazing food. Great presentation & brilliant flavours. They've definitely got an outstanding chef. The staff were so helpful, adapting a meal for our veggie friend who fancied the non veggie meal. All in all - the best St Austell pub in the SW without a doubt!

I visited with my partner who isn't very adventurous with his food choices. There was plenty of choice to suit us both. I had blackend cod which was delicious, my partner had cider cured ham egg & chips which was also really good. We stayed over in one of the court yard rooms which were very spacious & modern. Would...

Eating there was never a regrettable option. Me and my family went with some friends for Dinner and it was amazing it is also used as an amazing inn and will definitely return!!! Love it. Waiters and waitresses were extremely polite and I have recommended for fellow friends

I along with 2 friends booked for a Saturday night stay. Very impressed with our rooms in 'boutique' style, lovely and warm with a well equipped bathroom( only downside there was the shower curtain, shame not a screen). We enjoyed a pre dinner drink in the bar, very warm and cosy but were pleasantly surprised when we proceeded through to...

As we live nearby we regularly go into Topsham on Saturdays for shopping in the market and lunch. We have used many of the venues in Topsham over the years and have now been going to the Globe Hotel since it was taken over by a well known brewery and was extensively refurbished. We keep going because we find the...

We had visited the pub on Monday for a spot of light lunch. Barman very friendly when we enquired if they did sandwiches. We had sandwiches and chips and a child's meal. Very good portions and reasonable priced compared to a lot of similar options in the town. Spacious seating in the bar, restaurant or out the back of the...

We chose this hotel originally as it was one of the only ones, where we could bring our elderly blind labrador. But we were amazed the rooms were lovely, with a beautiful on suite bathroom. The service was friendly and professional. The town was charming. The meals in the hotel were excellent with a good choice of dishes on the...

Another visit to The Globe with family for lunch. My partner went for one of the specials - turkey, stuffing & mushroom pie with mash & peas - best pie he has ever had! Lovely presentation. Was told it would be about 20 mins but it didn't feel that long. Good service as always.

My granddaughter was 16 yesterday and a party of 7 of us went to the Globe for Sunday lunch. 5 family and 2 friends. I had heard such great reports of the food but must say I was disappointed. I started with a very good Oxtail soup with dumplings and followed with traditional Roast Beef. Unfortunately the beef was grossly...

We visited the globe on a Friday evening. I have been to the globe for drinks before but have never eaten. It was recommended to me so thought I would give it a try. The Globe was very busy when we arrived which is usually a good sign. The food was good as reasonably priced, I had the pork cheek...
