I've been staying at The Jays for a while. It's close to work and just what I need. Room is always clean, warm and has the facilities needed such as Wifi and a desk. When my family came down to visit, we were given a flat that had separate rooms which was ideal. They have lots of nice touches and...

This accommodation is 2.5 to 3 star, not the 4 star claimed. If you take this into account it is about average value. The breakfast is below average with the fresh fruit consisting of 1 old banana and 4 mandarins! The rest is standard cooked breakfast and you're not even asked what you would like

Ours was a en-suite room on the first floor. Looked old but nicely maintained. The owners, Alan and Jenny go out of their ways to make the customers feel ''at home". Upon arriving, Alan had told us that if we wanted to have vegetarian menu for breakfast,we'd love it. And, we did. The veg sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes, baked beans were...

Booked at the last minute as all my normal haunts in Bristol were full due to the balloon fiesta. This B&B is located right on the main A38 close to Aztec West and Bradley Stoke, with a couple of other B&B's along the same stretch of road some 6 miles from the city centre. My room (number 8) was a...

This place is nice and quite. Near to many offices and easy access to city center. Breakfast was excellent especially the vegetarian breakfast. Though the interiors are little bit old, it is quite cozy.

My first thought of the hotel was the busy and dangerous road outside and the nearby school as these worried me that it was going to be noisy, this turned out to be true. The room that I stayed in was in need of a refurbishment as it looked old. The breakfast was average (I had bacon, sausage and mushrooms)....

We stayed at the Jays and travelled into Newport, the train link was superb and on a night out we went into Bristol again no real distance from the guest house. The people who run the guest house were some of the nicest people I have met. Would recomnded this guest house for anything.

Can't say enough good about this place. Jenny and Alan, the owners, run it like a dream. Alan cooks the best eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, beans and mushrooms you've ever put in your mouth every morning and Jenny serves in the lovely dining room. They are both incredibly courteous and helpful, and Jenny is really funny! She asks and remembers...
