10 of us came to celebrate an 80th birthday and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed it so much we have been twice in one week! The food was delicious, the homemade deserts wonderful and full of taste. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all very reasonably priced. Will we be back? Certainly and we look forward to... The best I can say about Bleachfield is that the Bistro staff and the cleaning lady were very helpful and friendly. We arrived earlier than planned and met the very nice lady who had just finished cleaning the cottage. She showed us where things were and gave us some supplies. Had we not arrived early, there would have been no... More

If you are looking for great food, service in a cozy, comfortable environment then look no farther than Bleachfields. We are regular Sunday lunch diners and they really look after their customers. The staff are amazing, friendly and work so hard!! those stairs and heavy plates- you have my admiration!!..Great to have this gem on your door step. If you... More

Recently there was a guide that gave their opinion on the 10 hidden gems in Europe ... it was a good read except they missed one place in their guide, The Bleachfield Bistro. Although we live local and have driven passed this place many times we have never dined here ... what a mistake that was .. A few us... More

We enjoyed the most perfect week here, mostly because of our comfortable stay at Bleachfields. Loads of things to do in the area yet the village is quiet and restful. The site is right on the Ring of Kerry and the accomodations were quite comfortable and incredibly inexpensive. Nice to have a kitchen living room with TV and WiFi for... More

Had lunch here recently and it was my second time. A gorgeous restaurant, very cosy especially if you were lucky enough to be seated near the open fire. Lunch was delicious but portions were huge! Our waitress was Aoife who was absolutely lovely. My only tiny complaint was that the seats were very hard and uncomfortable, a cushion on each... More

I am a local from a nearby town Killarney, I work in miltown and eat here most days for my lunch. I also have regularly had dinner here and just can't get enough of the place. Very reasonably priced and food is very fresh. Staff are extremely pleasant also. I would recommend this bistro to anyone they seem to cater... More

I had dinner here. The food was delicious. I loved the seafood chowder. And the entertainment was pure Irish fun--the singing and dancing. Thank goodness I did not get picked to do the broom dance. And the leprechaun was so funny. Thanks for a great evening.
