The hosts and welcome and warmth are like the Italian grandparents you wish you had. The location is surreal. In a great way. Through historic, medieval, windy cobblestone lanes and stairs. Like you're in another world. Then the rooms themselves are so clean and new. Modern updated bathrooms. Views of the bridge. Full breakfast included-- eggs, hans, cheeses, fruits, breads...

What a stunning location! We felt like we had stepped into a fairytale as we navigated our way to the apartment. Very clean, well stocked, and super nice hostess. Things to note: There is no internet. This was only slightly inconvenient. There are a few flights of stairs, so packing light is a good idea. Breakfast is included, but that...

Set in the gorgeous little town of Dolceacqua, the apartment was very comfortable and the owner is a delightful character. She also owns the Bar California on the other side of the little bridge and it is important to know that because that is where you need to go to check in. She will then take you into the old...

We stayed at La Casetta di Vale for one week during the month of July 2014 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The apartment was clean, nicely decorated with a small balcony overlooking the tiny winding streets and courtyards of Dolceacqua. The atmosphere of a typical tiny Italian country village certainly met our expectations and the jovial conversation of the locals...

Really nice people who welcomed us with a bowl of pasta and wine in the morning before we checked in! The BB is in a very old historic medieval house up quite some steps. Views of the bridge. Old stone hallways. Definitely gritty, rustic, charming and quirky.

The large apartment with a balcony has all the modern facilities you'll need, in a building which is in the medieval part of the village, in a narrow stone lane. It's a unique combination of the comfort of modern life and the way people lived several hundred years ago. Your next door neightobours are locals, whose families have lived there...

My wife and I stayed for four nights in August in one of the suites of La Casetta di Vale. It's located in the medieval village with winding stone paths, a ruined castle above with great views, great restaurants that serve local foods, great cafes (including the owner's California Bar). The town is small enough to be able to walk...

A very nice B&B in the old part of town. We were very well received by our hostess. The apartment was spacious, clean, light with a small balcony. The breakfast was a bit thin for us, coffee and croissant, but there are shops in the town. I am happy to give my recommendations.

My little house stays at the foot of Doria's castle, and it's ideal for a family or a group of friends. It has one bedroom completely furnished, a nice kitchen(fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Kettle)-living room, a comfortable bathroom and a small terrace with view on "Piazzetta". Families with kids are welcomed. For the children we could provide a little bed and a little chair for eating. It IS includes breakfast and linen.
