I have stayed here on several occasions and never been disappointed, the pub has a lot of character and is very welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the walk in shower is the best. Will certainly stay again it's just a shame that our site is in the middle of Chippenham and the morning rush can sometimes leave...

I found the room to be quite expensive as it was a b&b attached to a pub! We were going to a wedding so couldn't check in before the wedding but were given a key as we didn't come back till past midnight!

We had a lovely stay here the night before the Bank Holiday races at Castle Combe. There are a few boutique rooms located near the pub/restaurant that are beautifully decorated - each unique. We had room 2, which is based on a famous French wine. We were also able to take advantage of the outdoor private seating for hotel guests...

Location is very much away from everything, and the place looks homely and very comfortable. The Pub area is lovely with outstanding food. However for a 5 star location I would of expected more from the rooms. They are very small, cabin like away from the main building. I felt as if I was on a Cruise Liner. Facilities are...

Old school pub, not yet gentrified but serving really outstanding food. Steak night on Wednesday offers amazing value for superb steak with a wonderful reduced meat jus and peppercorn sauce. Nice rooms

Great place to stay, food good , staff excellent. Interesting places to visit, make sure you go to the Westonbirt Arboretum and Castle Coombe. It really is home from home, staff were very helpful and the food of a high standard.

We had a really nice evening meal at the House at Home on one of the hottest nights of the year, taking coffee up on the terrace afterwards. The bacon mozzarella, red onion ciabatta appetiser was very tasty and tastefully presented, and my sea bream fillet on a bed of fine trimmed green beans, sauté potatoes and other delicate and...

Poor motel style accommodation attached to a rather grubby pub, nice people can't mask standard of this place. Food is basic, tables and seating in the pub are sticky. Separate motel rooms face noisy road. Could not recommend this place despite the pleasant staff
