The charming bed & breakfast is situated in the historic village of Casalborgone, on a top of a hill which offers a wonderful view of the surroundings. The beautiful villa now houses several rooms decorated with amazing taste combining original, old furniture and modern pieces. Francesca, the owner, is a great hostess, and her breakfast muffins are unforgettable :) Sipping...

We had a very lovely three day stay at Via Vai, a beautiful 16th century property nestled in the Piemontese hills. Although the property itself is very beautiful, and beautifully restored, it was really our delightful host Francesca who made this stay memorable. From the fist moment you meet her, it is like meeting a long lost friend, and she...

What a great place to stay! Francesca is so kind! She bought musquito spray for us, even for our little one. She gives really nice cooking classes and we were the lucky ones to learn from her how to make fresh pasta! You are probably the only turist in town, something which we liked. The surroundings are beautiful. We think...

Francesca makes this charming B&B delightful. The relaxed atmosphere, beautiful renovations, and the pool (especially in the summer) make VIA VAI a wonderful stop in Italy. It's off the beaten path! Our group of 16 was easily accommodated. Chivaso is close enough if you need something from a larger market but Casalborgone has a village meat market, bread shop, cheese...

We had a smashing two nights here. The house and rooms are gorgeous, with great views, and the host Francesca is incredibly accommodating and relaxed. A great way to end our trip to Italy.

We have just returned after spending six nights at Viavai with our toddler son. Viavai is a large, beautifully-restored, impeccably clean & modern farmhouse set behind high gates on a hillside overlooking a village below & snow-topped mountains in the distance. This was our first trip with our son, & we were relieved to find that the thick walls &...

We stayed in Viavia for just a quick trip, only one day, but we enjoyed a lot everything! First of all the great place: an old building completely renewed, with a special old-italy "taste" that allowed us to have a great stay. Francesca Vai was a perfect guest, and our "cooking lesson" about appetizers was... WOW! Thanks for everthing!!!

I cannot recommend Viavai highly enough. It is quite delightful. The house has magnificent views of the countryside around and is situated in a picturesque village on top of a hill. Francesca is the perfect host - extremely welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms are beautiful; very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and altogether you will have a treat...

There are places that you remember because everything was just right... this is one of those places. I didn't bring proper directions, so our stay started out with my frantic call to the owner, Francesa, telling her that I was in Casalborgone and couldn't find her place. I finally understood that we were in the historic district on the hill...

The service and atmosphere at this B&B was just right - helpful, but also laid back and unobtrusive. We were offered drinks and cake on arrival, free of charge, which was much welcomed. Our room was the Gaia room - very tastefully furnished and comfortable. lovely view of the surrounding hills. No air con - though we were offered a...
