We arrived at the Grange Hotel for a wedding the next day. On inspection of our room we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the 'Suite'. We had a lounge with sofa and two chairs plus a huge TV. An enormous double wardrobe, a bedroom complete with dressing table , and a huge bathroom with lots of storage space....

After reading previous reviews on here i was a little worried about how the night would turn out. We didn't need to worry, everything was fantastic! Great food and great service! The food was amazing, i would highly recommend the beef! Never had beef like it. One very very small grumble, the chocolate brownie would be nice warmer.

Comfortable; if slightly faded hotel in need of a bit a redecoration and tidying up. Room was OK but with the wardrobe a bit difficult to get into. The bed was comfortable; but there was nothing stand out about the whole stay. OK menu in the bar / restaurant and the food was a nice standard.

Stayed at the hotel for a two night break to attend a family wedding. We arrived late on Friday eve of having traveled from South Wales, with an 8month old baby. This was stated at the time of booking. On arrival we where greeted by a very miserable abrupt lady, and told our room was 'outside round the corner &...

Ten family members stayed for one night. This included pamper sessions and a meal in the evening. This took place in a private dining room. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Some had recently been refurbished. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made the stay a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is a country style residence with...

We have only stayed for one night and it allows dogs. The lodge wasn't too bad but could do with a bit of redecorating outside. The Grange itself looks lovely from the outside and although the panelling inside goes with the building, its a bit dark and dingy and could do with updating, particularly the carpets which make it look...

Arrived early and had a very welcoming breakfast with gluten and dairy free options, which was a real bonus as this is not common, but really appreciated. Had a very light and airy top floor room with a beautiful view over the gardens. The hotel is very clean, the staff very welcoming and hospitable. Diner was beautifully served, very delicious...

My Husband and I like to getaway 3 times a year (without the little ones!) so finding somewhere like this is great, the staff are really friendly and the food is amazing, (don't let your chef go!!!) The hotel it's self is in need of some TLC, but the staff location and great food make it a little easier to...

Interesting and quirky older hotel with comfortable beds and good breakfasts. Lovely garden outside and some lodges out in the grounds too. Staff were helpful and pleasant. A bit noisy if you're over the ballroom during a wedding but otherwise peaceful and relaxing. No lift so get someone to carry your case up the stairs.
