This place is really something special. We went with our two boys and we all had the most wonderful time. Strong Auroras every night viewed from the comfort and warmth of our lovely cottage (Cranberry). If you are in The Yukon do yourself a favor and stay here. The service provided by all the staff is warm and friendly, the...

My partner and I had an absolutely amazing time at the sundog retreat. Heather and Andrew were wonderful, prompt in replying to all our requests prior to arrival and couldn't have been more attentive to any of our needs. They even bought over a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. The cabins are far enough away from each other...

We chose to stay here for our 5 nt trip to Whitehorse because of the remote location away from city lights. Sundog Retreat is perfect. Well spaced out cabins, which are extremely clean, comfortable, warm and well set up. Everything you need us provided. Andrew could not have been more helpful....even down to sending over Moose & Bison steaks for...

We had a wonderful time staying at Sundog in February 2015. It is a lovely place for a family vacation and Yukon winter adventure. We traveled from California with our small children, who had a great time playing in the snow around our cabin and exploring the property. We really enjoyed the daytime activities, including dog sledding and touring Whitehorse...

A great getaway from the city lights to watch the Aurora in peace and (complete) silence. The cabin we got was ideal, with a nice backyard full of snow and ice. We could see the Aurora from indoors if we liked, but it's also easy to just step out for the full view. Overall, recommended.

Really nice place, fun hot tub, well stocked hot chocolate auroral viewing cabin. We had a great time! It would have been nice if we had wifi in the cabins, but i understand we are going to a remote location, so it's not that big of a deal. We got lucky and saw great auroras. To get the best view...

Owner Andrew is amazing. He made sure we had what we needed especially the crampons since it was very icey everywhere. The breakfast provided on our first morning was so so delicious. The snacks and warm water provided at the view cabins are great plus a lot of fire wood while waiting for aroras. We will stay here again if...

We were incredibly lucky to get a 4-hour show of the northern lights while staying at the Sun Dog! Great hot tub and sauna facility to rest in under the aurora. Location is a bit north of the city but there isn't much to see in Whitehorse anyways and the flat terrain allows for a full field view of the...

Ideally located far from the city made it perfect for northern lights and wildlife viewing. Cabins were authentic and provided the right feel for the location. Facilities had all we could think of, even 2 northern lights viewing cabins stocked with provisions for hot tea/chocolate and snacks! Only regret is that we didn't stay longer for better chances of seeing...

We've seen the northern lights two nights in a row at the most beautiful place! What else could we want? Cosy cabin, very comfortable, and great hosts who help you with everything, always with a smile? We've got it all! Spent 3 nights in the Wolf Den cabin, with view to the Aurora spot, so we could check if it...
