We booked this hotel based on favourable trip advisor reviews but were very disappointed. We called ahead to book a room in the motel outside unit and requested a senior rate which was confirmed. We like a motel with drive up parking for ease of unloading luggage. Upon arrival we were told the booking person obviously made a mistake and...

Staff were great, bar and restaurant were fantastic and the cost to plug in our truck and camper was the most reasonable our whole 3000km trip. Only $10! We stayed in a pet room to keep an eye on the truck so it didn't smell great but that's what we signed up for. Only complaint was the painful shower pressure....

Overall this hotel was very comfy. However, the rooms were very hot and if you opened the window the outside noise was pretty loud. The food looked extremely appetizing. However we were unable to try it as we had to have take-away as my daughter had her cat in her room and she couldn't leave him. It is really good...

I ended up in one of the rooms in the 'motel' building outside. The carpet smelled awful, the room was so, SO hot, but I was afraid to open the windows because they were so big and on ground floor, it would have been super easy to be broken into. As well, the chain lock on my door was broken...

We found the Airport Chalet on out second visit to the Whitehorse area. We booked this hotel for one night but ended up staying two nights. We were traveling by private aircraft so this hotel is in a perfect location; just across the highway from the airport. Nice clean and very friendly. Not fancy but typical to what I have...

We have stayed here a couple of times when passing thru Whitehorse, but this time there were multiple issues, minor but annoying: 1. The room was quite warm, no A/C, but the window crank was broken, so we could not open the window. 2. The satellite TV system was not working, and we had to call someone to get the...

I have stayed at the Airport Chalet many times over the past 6 years while living and working in the Yukon. It is definitely not "classy" but is more typical of old style northern hotels. The hotel rooms are a bit weathered but decent. The staff is friendly and the restaurant serves good diner style food at good prices. I...

This was my second visit at Airport chalet. Its been around 3 years since my last visit here. As a Houstonian, visiting far-northern part of Canada is a kind of refreshing challenge and excitement for me and also for my friend. Airport Chalet is small but still classy. The hospitality of staff memeber and owner is exceptional as always. Not...

Sweet cozy lounge from the Alaska Highway days of old. Bountiful aerial history photo's on the walls. Lovely accommodating Staff and owners. Did I say central fireplace in lounge and cool diner Cafe. Across from airport. Locals and travellers with many stories to share. Comfort Food. Still have rooms for smokers.....winkWink

We flew into Whitehorse late in the day and walked just across the street to the Airport Chalet. The staff is very nice and helpful, making suggestions for area activities. The onsite restaurant and bakery are fantastic! We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and were told the breads and many of the items are made fresh each day on the premises....
