The Victorian-era building has been beautifully restored and furnished in an interesting, eclectic style. The rooms are spacious and equipped with modem, spacious bathrooms. We were warmly welcomed and the check in was quick and efficient. The breakfast was delightful: great coffee, fresh pastries, Greek yogourt and a delicious "main course" of fresh fruit, eggs and ham on a buckwheat...

What a special place! This inn is a converted Victorian mansion and is absolutely beautiful on the inside. We stayed in an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking a quiet street. Our room was very comfortable and our hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was very formal, with an amuse bouche, fresh croissants and bread, a delicious soufflé and fresh yogurt....

The B&B is a beautifully restored (by the hosts) 1870's mansion with big rooms, high ceilings and much ambience. It was a comfortable and restful place for us to stay for 2 nights - we wish it were more. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts are spectacular - creative and delicious.

Absolutely awful situation we were put in. Having waited 90 minutes, banging on doors and windows to get in we asked next door both sides and they knew nothing. After 18 hours of travel we drove into America to find a room and found one at 01.00 am! We had arrived at Ile de Garde at 7.30 pm, as I...

This person harasses us for months in all media to an error with the booking center. We understand his frustration but we are not responsible. He also forgets to say it was compensated by the booking center itself. We found that we are not its first victims.

Great accommodations, fantastic hosts, beautiful ancestral home, delicious breakfast, close to downtown amongst a green setting. This B&B surpassed all expectations. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed each with private bathroom. The numerous common areas are of ample size and well decorated. We would return hands down.

This is a lovely B&B with large, comfortable, airy rooms. Arriving in a heavy rainstorm, we missed the driveway entrance the first time around. Thankfully the rain stopped and we were able to take the pleasant short stroll into Sherbrooke where we had a really good meal at a restaurant recommended by our host.We also enjoyed a very nice bottle...

We arrived to elegant decor, slept in a most comfortable bed and awakened to a succulent breakfast. On the morning of my wife's birthday there was a white rose at our table and a vase in our bedroom when we returned to our room. The host and hostess were very accommodating, for my wife's birthday they made the restaurant reservation,...

You have to be careful in approaching Ile de Garde to find the driveway, but once you are there, the relaxation can begin! A large home, beautifully preserved and updated, this was once a "retirement home" for Sisters of the Church. The hosts, Yves and Christine, are warm, caring, and hospitable providing luxurious rooms with private baths and unique, French...

A hearty walk to downtown Sherbrooke, this imposing Victorian was a former convent converted into a lovely B&B with clean, charming, peaceful rooms all different and reflecting it's spiritual past. We had breakfast in a beautiful, all windowed room decorated with impressive local art overlooking the authentic garden that grew medicinal plants from the famous nun Hilda Von Bingen. Served...
