My stay here was very good, overall. The room was clean and well-appointed. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The gym and pool were in good condition with plenty of equipment to use. Both had towels, and the gym had wipes to clean off equipment. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. On the other hand, the sheet on one of the beds in my room was either dirty or stained. The gym floor hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, and the pool floor was very dirty, too.
Very nice hotel in Sherbrooke. Incredible lobby with huge chandeliers! Welcoming front desk staff. Room was comfortable and marble bathroom was large with a great bathtub. Complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen. Omelet station, fresh fruit and yogurt, cereal, etc. Staff working the breakfast room was very friendly kept things clean. Plenty of space to eat and also an outdoor area. Overall great value and would definitely stay here again.
-On arrival, Yanis, at the reception, greeted us in a friendly, polite manner. He processed our arrival professionally and efficiently. -The hotel provides 5 star service and amenities. The property is immaculate. The rooms are modern and spacious. -The buffet breakfast is well above average with respect to variety and quality of the food offered.
Booked this hotel for one night, July 23. Drove in from Montreal to attend the Festival du Lacs in Sherbrooke and enjoy a day of activities. Check in was easy and room was comfortable with good amenities. I need to point out that my daughter had forgotten her phone charger, but no worries, the room came complete with various chargers in a charging station. We locked up our purses in the safe box and went to relax in the salt water pool. After returning to our room, we decided to head out and partake of some activities but here is where we hit a snag. The safety box would not comply. We called the front desk and immediately 2 people came to assist. To no avail. They left and returned with a third person and a special code. After many failed attempts, and feeling discouraged, they left. There was no one on the premises who could open the safe, so one of the managers had to leave and pick someone up and bring him to the hotel to do the job. The front desk , Yann, came to let us know that they were moving us to the room next door because they would have to drill the safe open. We relocated and within minutes of the work beginning, it was successful! We were able to be reunited with our purses and jewelry. Happy day, but that is not the extent of our trial. After almost two hours of this ordeal, we had given up going out for dinner and decided to order from the restaurant on site and eat in, since we did not at the time think we would get out at all. The front desk advised the restaurant to offer us free cocktails to come with our dinner. Greatly appreciated. Again, not the end. Subsequently, we were advised that the hotel would give us our room FREE for the night, due to the inconvenience of what happened. Very appreciated! We also received a bag of Lindt chocolates to sweeten the deal. I cannot stress how grateful we are to have had such wonderful customer service. The staff were all very kind and friendly, something in this day and age there is a lack of. We thank everyone for their assistance and we thank the hotel for making us feel like we, the customer, mattered. A lovely experience, despite the hick up ( or should I say lock up).…
No complaints here! Amazing stay, very comfortable beds. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room, nice touch. Chromecast in each room, not many hotels do this, wish they would! Breakfast buffet was phenomenal, omelettes especially were made to order and very tasty. Pool was nice and quiet, well kept. Management and staff were very pleasant. Would stay here again if given the opportunity.
The lobby is impressive - especially the gorgeous chadeliers and the furniture is great. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They serve a delicious buffet breakfast with lots of choices. The staff work very hard to keep it well stocked. The food is very tasty. The rooms are also very nice. Beds are very comfortable and also the pillows and it was very quiet to sleep. My only criticism is the shower floor is quite slippery. I think they need to do something to make it safer. That would be my only complaint. The parking is plentiful, free. close and well lit. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. There is also a spa on-site that we didn't visit. Next time............... I highly recommend OTL Gouverneur Hotel.
This hotel is really nice: comfortable, modern, clean, well situated for a car-based visit to the Eastern Townships and the city of Sherbrooke. It offers a pool and a spa (hot tub/whirlpool) and a very good, albeit overpriced restaurant on site. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms (makeup wearers will appreciate the ability to control lighting at the vanity) and good quality toilettes, towels and bedding. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices and was well organized in a pleasant communal dinning area. The parking is on the parking lot right next to the hotel. This is convenient, but not secured - so if its important to you, keep this point in mind. The only word of caution is the amount of chlorine and other chemicals in the hot tub: it has destroyed my bathing suit. Completely ate away the colour to a point that I had to throw it out. Obviously, it was unpleasant on its own, but the bigger question is: if the chemicals in the whirlpool water are strong enough to destroy a garment, what do they do to your skin?! We've raised these concerns with the front desk, and while the employees listened patiently, it was obvious they couldn't care less. The only answer was: we have the pool and hot tub examined by a contractor regularly. This says nothing of the quality of water/amount of chemicals used. With respect to the ruined garment, Francis Carrier, Director of guest experience asked to send him an e-mail with a confirmation of purchase, which I have done, and never heard from him again. No compensation was offered, no apologies. This whole experience has left a bit of a bad taste for us after an otherwise good stay at the property and the lack of interest by the hotel staff raised a red flag. Not sure if I would stay here again and certainly cannot recommend the pool/whirlpool, as the safety seems to be taken lightly.…
Located near highway, large parking lot. Friendly welcoming personnel. Super comfy beds. Delicious buffet breakfast but plan to go early. Reasonably priced wine dispensers. My favourite regular spot in Sherbrooke.
Such a nice hotel to stay at. The staff are so friendly and the decor is luxurious. Once in the guestroom, comfort is present. I am in love with the bed and the many option of pillows. I slept like a queen.
We stayed there twice this fall - an exceptional hotel in every way - great rooms - very helpful and professional staff. The breakfast buffet that is included in your stay was delicious and topped off our stays there. Centrally located in Sherbrooke. worth the expense if you want to pamper yourselves!
