Everything about this place was great. The location, coziness, cleanness, oh and the breakfast was amazing. Clement, the host was very kind and sweet and he made sure that he were comfortable. He gave us an overview of the history and culture of Quebec which was very helpful. I would love to stay again!

This was our third visit to Auberge J.A. Moisan over the last 7 years. (about 10 nights total so far.) We've stayed in 3 of the 4 rooms, and each is excellent, while each is unique. Definitely not the "chain" type of similar environment. Breakfasts are always an experience - at least 3 courses, and 12 different offerings, so you... More

For five nights owner Clement and his crew pampered us like royalty. The B&B is lovely and filled with charming Victorian antiques. Clement is so welcoming and nothing was trouble for him. Breakfast was nothing short of amazing. A multi-course feast that was different and unusual each day. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance to everything, but... More

This little gem is wonderful! Clement, our host, was delightful. We stayed in the Ludivine's Room which has a view of the Rue St. Jean out of the little dormer window. There is a staircase when you enter the main door, and another to reach the bedrooms. Both are narrow and steep, not for anyone that has a hard time... More

2 nights was not enough time in this beautiful B & B. Clement went above & beyond what we expected. Always cheerful, informative & a true pleasure. The B & B is very tastefully decorated, the rooms are small but lovely & perfectly planned out. Breakfast was exquisite both in taste & presentation, with Clement explaining each course. Everything was... More

The interior of this B&B above their store is magnificent, all has been restored to the 18th century setting. The rooms are perhaps small but they prosper in style and ambiance. The owner Clement is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is a real treat. Enjoy!

We had a delightful stay at J.A. Moisan in August. Clement immediately recognized our humor and entertained us with his. (The camera incident was hilarious). Clement was very well informed about the area and never hesitated to share his knowledge about all things Quebec. This knowledge provided us with lifelong memories of Quebec City which we thoroughly enjoyed thanks to... More

We totally enjoyed our two night stay here. The room was very well planned and comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were the best ! The host, Clement, was exceptionally helpful giving detailed descriptions of the breakfasts, historic perspectives of Quebec, restaurant recommendations and parking our car in the midst of a street fair that blocked Rue St Jean. He went... More

Clement is a wonderful host, providing richly detailed descriptions of every element of the multi-course unbelievably delicious breakfasts (down to the coloring and proper use of the salts). The location is excellent -- outside the walls and tourist jams of old Quebec, but easy walking distance to Plains of Abraham, old Quebec, and both the quaint old streets and the... More

If you are someone who spends hours researching B&Bs comparing location, amenities, reviews and price, look no further. My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Quebec City. We spent 3 nights at Auberge J.A. Moisan and could not have been more impressed. We lived in Europe and have experienced B&Bs in various countries but none as... More
