The location is perfect! It is in the middle of old Quebec. All walking distance to all the small beautiful shops, cathedral is just at the back, Hotel de ville, etc. it is clean and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. And the best thing about this Hostel is..it is very affordable!

This hostel is right in the center of old Quebec city, and is a fair price for its location. It was sufficient for our needs, but I had several complaints. -Wifi was spotty, and really didn't work well enough to use reliably. -The showers had push buttons, so you had to hold the button with one hand while trying to...

Good location for exploring old town. Internet is not very good. Had difficulty booking in as the receptionist folded laundry and did paperwork before checking me in, however she did acknowledge me and tell me she would check me in when i finished. Prices were not what i was quoted before arriving. Some of the staff, especially the cleaners were...

Perfect for budget accommodation in the heard of the old city. really liked the mood of the hostel, has a vintag-y feel to it. The rooms are nice and clean, bathrooms are shared by floor but were relatively clean too. The wifi is not very reliable, but overall it's a great deal for a short stay in quebec city.

This host is IN the old Quebec. If you are a fast walker, you will take 2 mins walk to the Basilique Notre-Dame, and 5 mins walk to the Chateau Frontenac. In every floors have a shower room and toilet. Some people reviewed that they couldn't connect with wifi well at 3rd floor but I staid in a mixed room...

I went to the Auberge de la Paix for a business trip of a week. I reserved by phone and gave my credit card number. I arrived late on the first day and the lady at reception asked me if I wanted to pay for the whole week right now or later. I said later and she gave me my...

All of the above ratings are based on what I thought about the hotel based on prior reviews on TripAdvisor and Hotels.com. I visited Quebec City for two days in February at the tail-end of the Carnaval de Quebec. I chose this hotel for it's close proximity, it was in the walls, and it was cheap (so I could splurge...

I had a great time at the auberge de la paix. Located right in the old city center near the Frontenac castle, it offers a great location and is only a few steps away from all major sights. I spent two nights in a mixed dorm and was very lucky to share it with nice and interesting people from many...

The location is good, but that was really the only thing I liked about the place. Not the friendliest service when you check in. The place is really old, and it had character, but I also felt like I was in a haunted hostel or in a novel where somebody was going to get murdered. That's the vibe. The guy...

“There is no 'private bathroom'. If you're in a private chamber, you share a bathroom with the four other private chambers on that floor. It didn't bother me though, I never had to wait for it and it was always clean. But spending a bit more on a private chamber is the way to go!”
