Great location, very walkable. Yes we had our own bathroom but for our room it was located down the hall - housecoats were supplied. Yes there was a fridge but it was downstairs in the lounge shared with the other guests. The best part was the breakfast in the cafe which we could order from the menu. We had eight... More

We had lunch here today and I just loved their Tarte a l'oignon. It had a no apparent crust and was more like a pancake. It was truly delicious. I would love the recipe. The atmosphere was very laid back and it was great sitting in the sun on their balcony. The wait staff were very friendly too.

Cartier Avenue is a nice trendy street with many restaurants and shops. Walking distance from our bed and breakfast. We seated ourselves outside. Nice wine and beer choices. Good menu. Difficult to choose. My husband had the onion pie. For me croque monsier. Both delicious. Nice to people watch. We shopped a bit. Picked up food stuffs for our travel... More

Whilst on a trip to Quebec City, we had lunch/brunch here, as some of the previous reviews had been positive. Basically, the service was poor, the order was wrong - they brought one of the three orders wrongly, corrected it after 15 minutes or so - and charged us for the extra meal they had got wrong. This was corrected... More

Coffee is really fantastic and so is the quirky atmosphere. Good standard fare breakfast. Nice staff. Just outside of the tourist district, with relatively easy-to-find parking during the day. Went twice on a 5 day stay in Quebec City, despite closer (and good) options near our hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during this year's Festival d'été and we were more than pleased with the Cafe Krieghoff, both the hotel and the restaurant. Being a combo resto/inn, it's a bit different from your standard hotels (check-in, parking, etc.), but the charm of the place and the location really make the Cafe Krieghoff a... More

Just to say that the service is not very gook at the café. I went just for a drink. I asked for Perrier, wich I got, that was not very cold. I asked the lady to have ice. She said OK but never brought the ice. So I stoud and went to the other person, the guy to have ice,... More

As travelers, we take chances; we try things based on our own instinct, experiences, preferences and other's recommendations. Sometimes things work out; sometimes not quite. Before visiting the Art Museum, I stepped into this local café for lunch. Just like many other local cafes, this one has its own charm. If I had ordered something else, my review might have... More

We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor. Our hotel room was facing a busy street. There was a pub right across the street. Well, young people, hardly in their twenties, were partying, screaming, and acting like wild animals all night long. We even spotted a young man trying to climb a poll at 3 in the... More
