Spent Victoria Day long weekend in Old Quebec City - at the Hotel Clarendon with Family and friends. The hotel is very old, but well situated and close to all Amenities and Shopping. The actual Hotel room and bathroom was quite small, but was fine for 2 people. The room was always clean and tidy, however it would have been...

This hotel is perfect for Quebec City. It's in the old town so you can walk everywhere. The hotel itself is old but in a good way. The rooms are all different sizes but nicely refurbished. You may get a small room with a great view or a quite large one that perhaps may look into the courtyard. Not much...

Well located in old Quebec, very charming, clean, great value (great breakfast included in price). Room was very comfortable and quiet with all required amenities. Close to Chateau Frontenac and lower Quebec. Best part was the staff, very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again!!

Great location in the old city. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, especially the concierge and restaurant/lounge staff. The lobby, lounge and dining room were bright and airy and very inviting.

We stayed at the top floor and view was spectacular. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Best of all was the location. You can walk to all the main attractions. It has a historic feel into it. We missed the saturday night live Jazz band - which I heard was great.

Dear Agulbas, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our place! If you enjoy history, you should try to book during Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France, a whole week where people are disguised as the first people of Quebec. It gives a really strong historic feeling! And the jazz bar completes perfectly a day of tourism ;)...

This hotel is a great value. Very small, but well kept rooms. The restaurant, bar, and lobby areas are old fashioned in an elegant way. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located directly across from the City Hall in old Quebec and is convenient to everything there. On Friday and Saturday nights, there is live jazz in...

The staff were lovely, the valet parking a worthwhile investment. Whilst the rooms are quite small, the overall quality of them makes up for that. There is plenty of old world charm here, mated to great wifi and HD televisions with great reception. Highly recommended if you want to stay within the old city, in walking distance to all that...

But I can't emphasis old enough. The hotel is nice, but very dated, and not really in a good way. The room is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. I know this comes with the historic old hotels, but too small for my liking. The location is great. Everything is within minutes walking distance. And there is...

Dear Wandering_Irish_Lad, Thanks for choosing the Clarendon for your most recent stay in Quebec! The hotel is actually probably the oldest hotel in Canada. Hostelling travellers since 1870, the Clarendon have been upgraded and enhanced but the size of the rooms remain smaller than modern hotels! In exchange, you do get a taste of the historic experience of the Nouvelle-France!...

We stayed five nights. From the wonderful art deco front doors to the subdued and dignified lobby, the Clarendon radiates old style graciousness. They have a wonderful Frederick Remington bronze in the lobby. The room was fully modernized, with very comfortable double beds, a good heating/cooling system, a modern bathroom, good sized TV, new furniture. The rooms are nice and...

Dear AKM4755, Thanks for choosing the Clarendon for your most recent stay in Quebec! Remington's "Coming Through The Rye" is one impressive piece of art! The dynamic pose of all 4 horsemen and the detail carved in the metal is just awesome and we often get caught staring at the thing for long moments. Sorry to diverge, this is one...

Stayed at the Hotel Clarendon Saturday night, wow! Amazing room, spacious and luxurious with big 4 post bed. Bathroom is a little small, but it is an old building so you have to live with some inconveniences. View from my room was not great, but we were there to go out and visit, not look from the window. Location is...

Dear stevebougie2001, Thanks for reviewing your most recent stay at the Clarendon! All rooms offer comfort and luxury but as you mention, higher categories are indeed something different! The Executive room is larger and is representative of the quaintness the building offers. If you prefer a room with a view, do not hesitate to verify availabilty with our lovely staff...
