The b&b is great value for money for my family and is located within the old Quebec City. It is perfect walking distance to all the tourist attractions! The owners made fresh breakfast for my family each morning. We had fluffy crepes with fresh fruit salad, home made bagels and jams one morning and delicious cheese omelette with strawberry yoghurt...

Positives:-Excellent location within walking distance of many attractions. Beautiful city with wonderful culture, history, architecture; Pleasant and helpful owners. Negatives:- No elevator. Two steep flights of stairs to access my room. Difficult for elderly guests. My bedroom felt shabby, with old assortment of furniture. No closet just an exposed rail between two metal posts. Neither the bedding or the towels...

We booked a triple-bed room with private bathroom. The owners are vary friendy, and we enjoys different breakfasts at different days. This hotel is close to Old town of Qucbec City. It is very convenient to anywhere in Quebec city. Furthermore, the owner provides the service to take us to airport by taxi.

The location was great with easy access to all the main tourist areas. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was small with a shared bathroom but we paid less than 100$ so it seemed fair.

Quite expensive prices for very outdated rooms and shared bathroom. Rooms on the street side loud in the evening/night and ventilator-fan also loud in the room. Host very friendly, maybe a little bit too much... Payment ONLY cash ! Not mentioned in the reservation !

Did not stay at the hotel but the owners very kindly ushered us inside for tea and biscuits to shelter us from the rain during a short thunder storm. Great hospitality even for non guests! Very kind indeed.

This place is a gem: affordable, centrally located and run by the sweetest couple on the planet. My son and I spent four night for the Festival d'Ete and Madame Balti was always ready with a home-cooked meal, a kind word and -- after we got to know her a bit -- a wisecrack. She and her husband speak enough...
