This hotel have everything you need without luxury. In downtown, near the Berry -. UQAM metro station. The neihgborhood is not the better in Montreal, but is one block from St. Cattherine Ouest. It had convenient amenities to enjoy your stay, and the personel is gentil. Very good option for travelers who search low cost and big value.

A hop skip and a jump away from the Berri -UQAM metro and bus station, this hotel is in the heart if the city. Restaurants, ranging from Vietnamese to Venezuelan to steak houses to McDonald's, abound. As for the hotel itself, clients will, first, notice the cleanliness of the common areas and staff's friendliness. Underground parking is available for about...

It had a kitchenette with the usual coffee maker, tea, creamer, sugar and sweetener (they charge if you forget to do your dishes), comfortable beds (white sheet - old bed cover), not much of a view (but as I mentioned earlier, the...

The two queen-sized bed suites are ample enough to accommodate a couple plus one or two others for a day or two, although there is not a separate bedroom. The kitchenette is sufficiently equipped to allow for simple - but real - meals to be prepared. A few minutes away on Sherbrooke Street, you will find a supermarket. a pharmacy...

Our room on the 8th floor was spacious and clean. There was a concert in the park down the block when we checked in and it was very noisy but it ended at 2300 and after that it was quiet enough. Four breakfasts, included with our room, were identical: mass produced scrambled eggs, hash brown type potatoes, terrible sausage pieces...

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
