This B&B is lovely, you can find all facilities you need like comb, slippers, blade etc. The owner is really friendly and he is happy to suggest you the best places to visit in Montreal. The breakfast is amazing, expecially the œufs Bénédicte!!!

Had a great stay at the B&B. JR went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable! The room was comfortable and had A/C. Thank goodness as it was so hot when we were there. The B&B is decorated very nicely and it is very clean. Breakfast every morning was eggs(could be omlettes, scrambled, soft/hard eggs), fruit,...

Host was friendly and helpful, cooked great breakfasts. Room was nice, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location, 30-30 min walk to most attractions and subway stop close, safe area. We had a wonderful time. Excellent, thank you!

From the warm, friendly welcome from J-R we knew we were in for a good stay. The B&B has only four rooms, but every detail has been taken care of. There is a torch, an umbrella, spare toothbrushes, chocolates, 24 hr coffee, you name it. J-R puts his heart into his home and we were very happy to be there....

My wife and I visited Gite Ocoin at the tail end of our Quebec trip, and we regret spending only one night and having to rush out to the airport in the morning. These glowing reviews speak the truth. Jean Rene ("JR") is a warm, welcoming host, the kind that loves chatting with his guests. He's considered every detail of...

I am very happy to write a review for the Gite Ocoin because my daughter and I had such a positive experience for the four nights we stayed there this past week. It has a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The host, Jean Rene Monette, had been in the hotel business and you can see how this shows in the...

Sweet, charming, and conveniently close to the metro. Our host was so warm and friendly and accommodating- we loved everything about our stay! It truly felt like home away from home- we felt very comfortable in this nice home.

I can't find anything wrong about this place. The location was a little far from downtown Montreal, but because it is two blocks from a subway, it isn't an inconvenience. The host is not only extremely friendly but is very helpful, and has thought of everything to make your stay not only comfortable, but as much like home as possible....

We arrived late at night and yet were greeted with the most bubbly personality of any host we have ever met. This was more like a home than a B & B, we genuinely felt relaxed and totally "at home". Our room was gorgeous, and our bed was one of the best we have ever slept in while on holidays....

We booked the room almost a year ago and the communication with Jean René was outstanding . We arrived late and tired from Quebec and JR welcomed us with a big smile . He made us feel like home from the moment we stepped in . The B&B is located only few minutes away from Frontenac subway station which takes...

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
