We spent three days at Habitations in September and had a great experience. Location was just fantastic in the old part of town right in the shopping district and minutes from the harbour. Room was huge, clean and had everything we required. Manager was great and at call. Tom

This is a gold star location. Right at the junction of the road that divides West from East Montreal.A stone throw from the harbour and the river side parks ( which are actually nothing special) and right next to St Paul East - the main shopping and eating area. A short walk ( 5 minutes) to the nearest metro and...

LOCATION-LOCATION!! This place is where you want to be in Montreal! The price Can't be beat!! It was clean, but dated. We always look at a place we stay as just that! I'm not moving in! We stayed in 301, A great corner to people watch! (windows need a GOOD washing!) We were tired enough at night that the outside...

We Stayed for 6 nights in the 3 bedroom Imperial suite on the fourth floor with our three children and two close friends. We were very grateful that there was lots of space with one bedroom having its own floor. There were two and a half baths which was awesome with such a large crowd. The living area had a...

We stayed here for 4 nights in the Canadian suite. Our arrival was not very well organised. We turned up and had no way of getting in. There is no reception really as the manager works in a shop round the corner. Only by chance did another couple staying there come back and let us in the main foyer where...

We stayed in a 3BR condo in early July 2016 - I believe it was #303. The condo is on 2+ levels. There is an elevator in the building. But, if you are mobility impaired you will need to negotiate at least a half-flight of stairs to access all parts of the unit. The lower level has a kitchen, spacious...

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
