"Casa bella" is one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. Rating this hotel makes u lol as it doesn't meet the minimum standards. I was wondering why the most popular apps like TripAdvisor place such kind of hotels with them spoiling their reputation. Free parking was provided where u can't access to ur car at anytime u... This hotel is not the most horrible hotel.. except for the bathroom. I made a reservation via Expedia, I always check here the reviews before booking, so I check, they seem umm bad but well we were looking for a economic place to stay two nights. I suppose Montreal is expensive because I pay like $200 for two nights. The... More

The hotel is located on Sherbooke West which is one of the main traffic streets in Montreal. Outside the hotel is a bus stop and no parking areas which makes it very difficult to unload baggage. Parking is provided at the rear of the hotel which 3 parks wide and 3 parks deep making it very difficult to access you... More

First things first. I booked this hotel without consulting with my wife - big mistake. She was very upset. The hotel had to win her over. When we got there the outside was less then impressive. It looks like a hostel. The parking was in a shady ally way. Inside wasn't much better. It was run down. But it served... More

Hotel Casa Bella is amazing! It has a great location. Finding your room is a little hard but once you get the hang of it is easy. The rooms are nice but have no bathrooms which didn't bother us to share one with the other guests. It has an ideal location near a hop on hop off bus stop and... More

Free parking located at the rear of the building, if you can find it. Took us a few drive-bys, but finally realized that small alleyway was where we enter. You find your way to the back of the hotel and squeeze your car into the tiny spots, like sardines in a can. Your car cannot be moved after 3pm. And... More

This hotel is easy to find and although a bit of a maze inside with a tired feel to it, it was absolutely fine for my daughter and I. The room was a fair size and clean. The bed was comfortable, there was a ceiling fan, a TV, a fridge and a reasonably sized bathroom with shower. The shower was... More

The good things about this hotel were price and location, however even if I wasn't expecting anything great I've been pretty disappointed by the hotel. The hotel is old, which is usually not a big problem for me, as I said I knew I booked a cheap hotel, but first of all the room was dirty, that carpet hasn't seen... More

The hotel was cute from the outside, and the location was excellent. It was centrally located for McGill University, and close enough to walk up to Parc Mont-Royal. Our room was pretty and clean, but the hotel in general was kind of run down and hard to get in and out of. The parking situation was pretty awful; all the... More

I was in town to watch two Red Sox games. I wanted a low cost, clean place, free parking and free internet. This hotel fit what i was looking for. Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
