Interestingly, i made our reservation through the SPG loyalty site and our friends did through one of the online hotel sites. I booked an upgraded room I.e. king size bed for 145 and they booked a queen room for 125. We had a nicer room...More
I’ll say this, great location. Few things were a bit off in the room, the toilet leaked, the tub didn’t drain and had toilet paper stuck to the inside, internet was a bit shotty, but the beds were comfy and it was clean.
We were so disappointed when we made an impromptu trip last spring, and Le Meridien had no rooms. Its convenience to where we like to go, the quality of the neighborhood, and the ease of driving around that part of downtown has made it our...More
In Montreal for a week to ring in 2018. Hotel is in an excellent location within the Golden Mile on Sherbrooke St. Quest. We were in the Penthouse. An incredible view and a comfortable room. If your looking for 5 star (which I always do)...More
I loved everything about this hotel, but in particular the front desk staff and Lambert in the restaurant were amazing. I arrived before check-in had officially begun but they found me a room. It's a great location with tons of restaurants and shops around too....More
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
If I remember correctly it was about $25 CAD/day, confirm with the hotel though. It was worth it. We used their valet park and didn't touch the car for 4 days. We biked everywhere in MTL. It's wonderful. The hotel was... More
