Good quality, spacious rooms for a reasonable price. Breakfast is included and is decent enough, with hot and cold options available. Gym is serviceable and welcome for the included price. Perhaps worth shopping around for parking, given its over $20 a day. But overall an excellent hotel and location for the price.

Great hotel. Great Location. Rooms were large and spacious. Staff was helpful and polite. Parking is $24 extra per night. But room rates were affordable and breakfast was very filling. Close to everything and walking distance. Enjoyed our visit to Montreal and def will be back. They accommodated all our requests. Was very happy with everything. Look forward to going...

We booked on Hotwire which is always a gamble. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are large, the beds and pillows were fabulous. The location is center downtown close to everything. The breakfast was good exactly as expected for hotel breakfast. Front desk was marvellous and gave us extra fluffy blankets. ANNND check out is NOON!! Definitely will be back!

We spent two nights here--each room is a suite with a small bedroom, a living room, a kitchen with a bar counter, and a bathroom. The suite was pleasantly decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the bedroom very dark. The room was quiet--couldn't hear any noise at all. Plenty of good towels and hot water, and a Keurig coffeemaker....

So we arrived and it was - 15 out and the room was a refreshing to say the least. No heat in the room. Front desk was responsive so that was good. Other than that an adequate place to sleep with great location in the downtown area.

This hotel is basic but clean. I was traveling with my mother and sister and we got 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds and a sitting room. By the look of the arrangement of the lights this was once a suite with dining and sitting areas and a small bedroom. The bedrooms have been reversed and the main area with...

The hotel is basic but very clean. The room We had was a 2 bedroom with 2 queens. The queen beds were in the room with the kitchen and the sofa bed was in the next room. The coffee at breakfast was very good. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, potatoes and cereal. The staff was very helpful and good...

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. It is located right downtown with easy access to the Vieux Port, Old Montreal, Plateau and Quartier des Spectacles. It began at check-in, where the front desk attendant was very kind. Since our train arrived around noon, we asked to store our bags. The attendant went above and beyond and provided us an...

Our first impressions of the hotel was it was a little grotty (garbage at the front steps, worn looking lobby). The reception however was modern and the staff helpful and friendly speaking English perfectly too. The breakfast room looked very clean and modern too. The elevator and the hallway to our room was worn looking but on entry to our...

We spent here 3 nights in October 2016 with our 2 children ages 3 & 5. We had a room with separate bedroom. Kids slept on the sofa-bed. Room was spacious and the kitchen area was great extra. We were not high enough (7th floor) to have a good view but from upper floors it is probably great. Bed was...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
