We had a very nice stay at this hotel in Montreal. The staff is lovely, they even supplied us with an umbrella for our rainy walk around their beautiful city. The room was nice with a comfy bed but the furnishings, view and outlay were nothing special. We ate dinner at their restaurant, which was very good and brunch the...

New Years weekend in Montreal. InterContinental is within in walking distance to all festivities. Located near convention center, China town, Old Montreal and shopping. Staff is attentive and friendly. Rooms are clean and fresh. Definitely will frequent when visiting in Montreal in the future!

We visited from Dec 27-30 of 2016. The hotel is one of the better ones in the area for a decent price and comes with all the amenities of a five star hotel. The room service was decent and they have a spa where I had a massage that was also good quality - you can get them for 30,...

My main points are listed below along with a star rating for each. 0 Stars being the worst, 5 the best and I finish with an overall view. 1) Service - 5 Stars of 5 - The service at the hotel was fantastic. This is a very nice property in Old Montreal with a full bar and restaurants located near many other dining and shopping options. My checkin was efficient and friendly. My room was clean with lovely views of Old Montreal and the River, but the sofa, chairs, and carpeting in my room are all in need of a serious update or...

Traveled to Montreal for a business conference, stayed three nights in this old world (with updated guest suites) full luxe establishment. Arrived on a rainy fall Sunday, had a cheese & wine late brunch watching downtown through the the garden windows. Wonderful service, fine breakfast buffet and central location. Walking distance to cathedral, public square and old waterfront "cave" restaurants....

We organized an office party there. It was great. We were very last minute but they still managed to organize something wonderful for us. I am very grateful for their professionalism and patience. Wonderful staff and delicious food. The environment was also very clean and everything went as planned. I couldn't ask for a better place to organize events in.

We stayed there while in town for business, and for a couple of days of being tourists. The hotel staff is great, very accommodating, and really want to be sure your needs are met. The hotel is an older property, but very well maintained, clean, and updated. Some rooms are pet-friendly. The views from the upper floors are quite nice....

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
