The room was OK - however not really a "City View" but more of a street view with REALLY small windows. The entry to the property is far from special until you take the escalator up to the actual lobby. Firstly, I appreciated the change in the fresh fruit in the water fountain

I've noted your feedback and shared this with the hotel. They will make sure that actions will be taken so this does not happen again. Regards,

Suite 1400. Corner Suite. Ugly, ugly, ugly!
We were refused upgrade or lounge admission in spite being Rewards Club members, Ambassador level, and. Gold Elite. Also, no newspapers, no breakfast, no late check out among other deficiencies.

The concierge booked us a tour with a private guide. Although not a native Canadian the guide had lived in the city for many years and had good knowledge. He had a large comfortable Suburban type vehicle. Although it wasn't cheap we got good value for our money and saw more than we would have on a group tour.

In summer the pool was warm, and the whole room was pretty hot admit caught plenty of sun (on tenth floor roof area). There was a whole trunk full of foam floats and pool toys but I don't recall if this included actual arm bands for non-swimmers. Overall it was a pretty good + child friendly pool. All the best, Tom
