This hotel is located just off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle of downtown Montreal. We were there for one night and just needed a place to crash. If you plan on coming here on the weekend and want to leave your car there, don't pay the $31.00 for valet parking as weekend parking rates at the Complexe...

This is my second visit to the Hyatt. The beds are comfy and have lots of pillows. Pretty important when you aren't at home. It is close to restaurants and shops and the Metro. Old Montreal isn't far walk. You can get to many places without going outside. A bonus during those cold winter months.

This hotel is very nice. the front desk staff were friendly. It is a little confusing at first to get around. My room was nice. Everything is within walking distance. Enjoyed visiting the mall which is attached. The meeting room was large and the decor was nice.

The folks at check in as well as the valet were very helpful, polite, and happy. However, we discovered some type of bites or rash and informed the hotel during checkout. They escalated the incident immediately, gathered my contact info, and did have a company come into the hotel to check. A few days later, we were informed there were...

I love the location of the this hotel, as it's a short and direct walk to Old Montreal, and at the cusp of Ste Catherine and Montreal's shopping district. It also connects to underground shopping with some shops, a grocery store and some food options. T! Brasserie is a terrific restaurant literally steps outside the hotel. The hotel also has...

The hotel has a convenient downtown location. The property is a bit dated. My room was decent size but suffered from a good bit of wear and tear. There was no view to speak of. The bathroom was old, small and outdated. I'm not a big fan of higher end hotels that still utilize shower curtains. Overall the property was...

Very nice hotel and great location. Wonderful if you want to just step out onto Rue Saint Catherines and go for a walk. And even more wonderful for the mall located basically in the basement with a wide variety of stores and food to keep you busy for a few hours. Only down fall is that when it's elevator rush...

This is your standard huge hotel close to everything. Very convenient, good staff, but it is dated. They had signs up regarding upcoming renos of the hotel rooms, maybe starting around June. Definitely needed, as it was seeming a little tired. But the rooms are a good size, they are quiet, and like all things Hyatt, the hotel is well...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
