This was my second time staying there, but third time overall for our family. It is right downtown and just a few minutes from McGill. If you are visiting the University, or if your child is moving in the Carrefour Residence, this is the best place to stay. The staff has always been really friendly and helpful. The hotel is...

The hotel is good. I got a room on 3rd floor, no issues with noise as some other reviews wrote. It was a large apartment with loads of space with a small kitchen which was good to see. WiFi worked very well, good coverage everywhere, you login once in the beginning and then it remembers you. My only issue was...

Was in L'Appartement last week for a business trip. What I liked: Room was very clean, as the corridors, elevators and cafeteria. Nice flat screen TV and full kitchen. Self-serve breakfast is very good (for the price). Very convenient location in downtown MTL. Bed was perfect for me. What could be improved. noise isolation from street and corridor. Rooms are...

Room was very smal but all equiped and superd view from the 6th floor. The staff were very attentive to our request, spoke either English or French. Breakfast, continental, is very good and open à 6:30 on weekdays.

Overall extremely pleased with our decision to stay at L'Appartment hotel My husband and I took our anniversary trip this year to Montreal. We didn't rent a car while we were in Montreal, so we wanted a hotel that was centrally located with in the city. L'Appartment didn't dissappoint. We were able to walk from the hotel to all of...

We were quite pleased with this hotel overall. The staff was very friendly, spoke English, and were prepared to answer all our questions. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. At check in, I requested a room on the upper floors due to street noise and was placed on the fifth floor. We didn't find the noise at that level...

My daughter and I stayed here last week for a four day mini vacay....the hotel was very clean, our room was nice and clean as well. We used the sauna on the penthouse floor and the free breakfast was quite adequate....I especially enjoyed the coffee....front desk staff was very helpful and friendly...would definitely stay here again...good choice for the price!

The location of this hotel was excellent. The room was spacious and everything was in working order. There were a few cosmetic issues, but that didn't bother us. We could walk to downtown, to the Underground City, Mont Royale, and even Old Town. The included continental breakfast was adequate, and the breakfast area was large enough to accommodate everyone.

On our first trip to Montreal we were fortunate to find L'Appartement Hotel. The location was perfect. We arrived via Amtrak and the hotel was very close to the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were great. It was very quiet even though right in the middle of town. Breakfast...

I've visited Montreal many times over the last 7 years to spend time with my daughter, a musician who works out of Montreal (Juno Winner!). Anyways, I've passed the hotel numerous times and at first thought it WAS an apartment building. This time stayed five nights with a companion (I usually come alone). Stayed in a studio size room. It's...

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
