Beautiful hotel, very comfortable room and excellent location. This place has it all. The fitness room is very small so I didn't use it, the pool looked tempting but I didn't have appropriate attire. Only thing that was odd is that it was freezing cold outside (0C max down to -15C) yet my room kept hitting 24C without the heat...

This is a GREAT hotel with incredibly helpful staff. The bed in my room was possibly the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in. The bath tub was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located near the train station and the metro station. Also, it is within walking distance to many Montreal attractions (some closer than others). Will certainly stay...

Our room was guaranteed for 4 o'clock. We arrived at the hotel at around 2h30 and our room was ready! Great start. We gave our car to a valet and left it in the garage for the time of our stay. We didn't need it because the hotel is close to everything. The room was really clean and charming. We...

My husband, myself and another couple, went to Montreal for the World Junior Hockey Tournament just a few weeks ago. Loved the Hotel. Staff were excellent - they were patient with my broken French which I elected to practice, as they did speak English. The beds were comfy, rooms very clean and the location was superb!! The staff were also...

I went to Montreal for business and took the Verriere suite. The room was great, with good amenities. Only drawback is the shades are still letting pass of lot of light, so expect to be up early in the morning if you are sensitive to that.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
