Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.

It was my second stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, my stay was not as great as the first time. It seems I was given a room that had not undergone any updating for a long time. It was clean but very basic.

Bonjour Anne R, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, and for choosing the Westin during your time in Montreal. We are truly sorry you did not enjoy your room this time. All of our rooms were updated at the same time, and we are planning for our next refresh some time in 2019. We do hope to be able to welcome you back in the near future, and show off our upgrades! While the restaurant is most nights a bar the food was quite good, we had dinner elsewhere most night as you are on the edge of Old Montreal which has numerous restaurants. In the lounge we had the ribs almost every day as they were a great quick bite before we headed out for fun

This hotel is ideally located by the old city, so it's only a short walk. The hotel itself is modern and up to date. The lobby is small but functional. The rooms seem to be recently renovated and are relatively spacious. The bed is the usual Heavenly Bed, affording a good sle

I’m not one to bury the lead, so the title highlights my favorite aspects. Very nice hotel inside as well. The difference between a four and five star would be the facilities offered on-site, which are good but not enough to warrant five stars. Only knock would be the small pool

Where are good places to eat around the hotel?
Montreal is a gastronomic paradise! Ask one of the extremely helpful concierges, and they will provide you with some suggestions plus a fold-up map...we were there for a week and were not disappointed with any of the four places that we tried that they had recommended.
