When I went down for breakfast, although it was 10 minutes before the breakfast hour was over, the clerk with little skill and delicacy started to remove breakfast and clean the tables in a rough and unfriendly way, I have already gone twice, but also when I quize Use the shower, take it where the water comes out was damaged,...

Thanks for your stay in our auberge. The continental breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am. After that time the restaurant should be prepared for the lunch service. Unfortunately, for late sleepers, we can not serve breakfast until 11 in the morning. We only have 5 parking spaces and we accept only vehicles of small and medium size....

Flight from US delayed and didn't arrive until 1:30 am. Friendly face greeted a wary traveler. Room small as most European type rooms are but clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast lovely surprise. Spent night only but would not hesitate to go back.

Booked a weekend away with some friends to Montreal. Decided to book a boutique type hotel. Service was friendly at check in. The rooms were small but clean. The bathrooms were just okay. What made the place stand out was the bar and restaurant attached to the lobby. The Indian food is amazing there. The breakfast in the morning was...

We are very happy that you have enjoyed your stay in our Auberge. The continental breakfast is served buffet style, self-service, all you can eat. Breakfast is very rich: croissants baked each morning, 3 types of cereals, 4 types of bread (white, brown and multi grain), raisin bread, bagels, English muffins, waffles, boiled eggs, cheddar and Monterrey cheese, orange juice,...

Check out time is 11am and rooms are ready at check in time, 3pm. Unfortunately, if the customer arrives before 3:00 pm maybe he will not be able to have immediate access to the room. In this case, the client can store their bags at the front desk and return after 3:00 pm to have access to the room. This...

This hotel has friendly staff, is super comfortable, and is very wonderfully located - one block away from the Metro. It's in a fun neighborhood that is close to the boutiques and restaurants of Mile End and close enough to Mount Royal and downtown. Plus, the rooms have great amenities, and he breakfast sets you up for a good day....

The rooms aren't even close to what it looks like on the pictures and what you expect. The standard room is a lot smaller, darker (only a small window facing an emergency exit), and dirtier in some spots. The walls were painted dark and the equipment (e.g. lamps) was old and different from the pictures too. Also there is a...

This is my goto hotel when I need something clean and reasonably priced that has fast access to the metro. I have stayed here many times and find the motel clean and well looked after. Rooms are in 4 floor building with hardwood floors and stairs for access. Reminds me of an upscale B&B but does the job well.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
