We stayed for six nights, with my family , my husband , myself and our two daughters. The staff was cordial and helpful, allthough not overwhelmingly helpful I may say. The hotel was conveniently located next to a train station which allows you to take mass transit considering the streets were not cleaned after a major snow storm. Our room...

Like others have mentioned, if you are visiting Montreal as a tourist, this is not the place to stay. Yes, the Metro (subway) is right outside the door, but, there is really nowhere to walk around in Longueul near this hotel, However, if you have a reason to be in Longueuil or nearby, as we did, this is a good...

We have been to this hotel several times but it was the first time we had to complain. We got a good price and as always the room were clean, good service and free parking. But this time the indoor pool was inaccessible. The room temperature was 15 celcius and the pool itself was just freezing. There was sand at...

Firstly, the hotel in not in Montreal, but in Longueuil, on the south shore of the St Lawrence River, a long way from Montreal. One would stay there only if he/she had business in Longueuil or needed a place to stay when driving by (the hotel is just off the highway). Going to Montreal takes a 15 minute subway ride...

I stayed here one night with a large group and shared a twin room. The bed was good and since we checked in quite late there wasn't much else to do but sleep! They have vending machines on each level however since the machine on our level was out of water we went to ask reception who directed us to...

First of all I want to tell what I didn’t like about the hotel. Despite the thing that the subway station is just 2 minutes of walking from the hotel, it’s located in the middle of nowhere, i.e if you want to walk around at night (when the transport doesn’t operate) and visit some bars or clubs it would be...

Very horrible experience at the sandman hotel, water was brown coming out of sink, showers were cold, took forever for the water to heat up and the second night found our pillow was covered in Mould!!!!!! When we asked to be accommodated for our trouble we were told to wait till our check out date to ask the manager. Very...

The hotel is located on the south side of the river near the island where the Canadian GP is held. The Metro is about a minutes walk, and you are downtown in under 15 minutes. A 3day pass is to be had for 16 dollars and is good on all trains and buses. the rooms are comfortable, if perhaps a...

We usually opt to stay in downtown Montreal when we visit but this time decided to try The Sandman for a few reasons: 1) price 2) free parking and 3) our daughter wanted to ride the subway (ha). Location is literally across the street from the Longueil Metro Station. Very easy access. The Metro station has a small grocery, a...

Let me preface this review by saying if you are looking for convenience and a place to sleep while visiting Montreal then this is the hotel for you. Beyond that it is all negative. It is totally worn out from the front entrance to the lobby to the elevators to the rooms. I would be embarrassed to manage this hotel....
