Stayed for one night. Motel was OK. Clean. About 30 minutes walk from the main street. Some hill climbing to go downtown by foot. Restaurant was closed. Staff was correct. Bed was comfortable. Price reasonable for type of motel and amenities.

Allegedly pet friendly. This dated motel offers a fine river view blocked by one of its buildings, a spotless pool that is locked up, and a restaurant where you must be paying for the view instead of the food if a meal costs $30 each. There is no takeout or room service, and the staff generously provided us with vague...

The hotel has one of the best views of the Saguenay and Chicoutimi and the service is good. That's all it has. Rooms are small, very old, noisy, dark, smelly. The shower has no pressure and water does not heat sometimes. The exterior of the place is very cute but the rooms need serious updating. We stayed there just one...

We loved the sheets and down covered king size bed. A fair view from room 229 but the value for us was the panoramic dining room with very good well served meals. The servers were personable and eager to help we English speakers. We choose to see the Fyord region with Le Parasol as or base for four days. The...

It was a pleasant surprise for my family and myself to check in the Auberge Le Parasol. We were really hungry after a long drive and we were told the restaurant serves dinner 'a la carte' and it was what we were looking for. The parking lot is good as well. The location is interesting as we were not far...

The roof was shaking with the wind and the shower didn`t have enough water and didn`t heat.

Way over-priced. May have sketchy clientele who turn on loud music and sit outside their rooms (facing the parking lot) smoking and drinking. No A/C and very hot inside (during the summer), sound travels easily through the walls. Keys hardly work, and the hallways leading upstairs smell like sweat, mixed with vaguely mopped beer and vomit. It's your standard low-end...
