Classic Bed and Breakfast with old world charm. Bedroom was large and very comfortable. Located in high toned residential area convenient to the Museum and University of Toronto. Healthy breakfast with access to beautiful covered balcony. Best location close to subway systems which gave me easy access in 15 minutes to my Convention Center.

This is an old house. Not an elegant or refined establishment, just an old house, that needs lots of maintenance. It is run down and Tatty. In my room the curtains were frayed and the windows sashes peeling with paint and torn flyscreens. The room was not clean but it had nice towels and bed linen. The bed was some...

We stayed here in the Tower Room for 4 nights - the longest 4 nights of my life!! When we arrived I was not impressed by the outside appearance - very run down and no B & B sign. We could not get access at the agreed time as it appeared the owner's car had broken down and he had...

Our family of three stayed in the room next to the breakfast area, last winter. It was cozy, and Gerald, who runs the inn, made us feel at home. The shared bathroom worked out, since we were the only guests on our floor at the time. The inn is in a very nice neighborhood, about a block away from a...

I was in Toronto with my young daughter and this B and B was in a great location for the subway and walking. We felt safe walking around, even after dark. The room was spacious and comfortable and had antique decor to match the age of the house. There was a lot of attention to detail - you can tell...

We had the twin room next to the breakfast area. The room is large and the beds very comfortable. Shared Bath is right across the hall. Breakfast is large varied and continental. Only one window had a screen but the overhead fan was great. Would definitely stay again.

Stumbled upon the Admiral St. George while trying to find reasonably priced accommodations in the vicinity of the University of Toronto. Stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed all aspects of the stay. The owner (Gerald) was friendly, helpful and obliging. Many of the other guests were repeat customers. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the house had lots of...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
