Our accommodations were advertised as a suite and didn't fit that definition. It was a narrow entry hallway, a reasonable kitchen with washer/dryer and a very tiny bedroom with hardly enough room to walk around it, much less anywhere to store luggage. There was no sitting area, simply a hard-backed chair at a desk and two barstools that then blocked...

The room I stayed in had a lounge area, full kitchen, balcony, great looking bathroom and bedroom. This room was leaps and bounds better than what I had stayed in previously during my time in Toronto for approximately the same price, specifically the Sheraton. I really enjoyed having a full kitchen to cook with and had a great time enjoying...

I have visited Toronto a few times, and stayed at various hotels, and cosmopolitan stands out as the go to Hotel downtown. The hotel is tucked away from the hussle and bussle, although only 5 minutes walk from the main shopping area. Is great for business and leisure stays. Nice rooms, particularly on the higher floors with wrap around windows....

We showed up at the hotel, great location, nice service at the front desk. We went up the elevator to our room and immediately I could see how they used pictures to make this place look a LOT nicer than it was. It has the look of an old house that was poorly renovated. Not great materials used, sloppy workmanship...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
