Cosmopolitan has every thing you need for a long-term stay but don't expect luxury. Rooms have all the necessities - in-room laundry, safes, kitchens, good sized seating area. The hotel has seen better days though. The furniture is worn, blinds don't quite work, paint is chipped. Nothing earth-shattering but small things add up. The room was tidy, but finding someone...

I was greeted by a friendly front desk attendant and was quickly checked in. Nicely appointed rooms, kitchen, large bathroom. I went out for dinner at on of more than a dozen great places within 5 minutes of the hotel. Came back for a nightcap at the wine bar on the main floor. An all round great stay. I'd definitely...

Spacious room, full kitchen, comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Some maintenance items needed to be done, leaky kitchen faucet and some burn marks on counter top. Small lobby but funky bar and restaurant in the hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and always have had a great time. The room came with a small kitchen, sitting area, and a balcony. The parking situation was a little bothersome so I would just park in the underground parking around the corner near the Tim Hortons. Even doing this you still have to carry your luggage...

The room was more than I expected. There was plenty of room with a living room and kitchen area along with a bedroom and nice sized bathroom. Conveniently located to get to restaurants, hockey hall of fame, mall, theater etc. Fitness center was good too

The Cosmopolitan Hotel was a unique and luxurious-feeling experience! Our suite came with a kitchen as well as laundry! We were on the 23rd floor and really enjoyed the cityscape sight through all the floor to ceiling windows! Especially loved the separate bedroom, again with floor to ceiling windows but effective blinds so we could sleep in! I was impressed...

The suite was spacious, comfortable and loaded with amenities and a well-stocked fridge/bar. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Our spa experience was very relaxing and the RMTs who gave us our massages were excellent. The location was ideal for walking to and from a concert at the Sony Centre and close to great shopping, restaurants and St....

By far one of the best hotel stays we have had! Gina at the front desk was such a gem when we walked in. All of the staff were very pleasant and were extremely accommodating to all of our requests. It was my boyfriends first time ever visiting Toronto and it was the perfect hotel to stay at. Less than...

This hotel is conveniently located a couple of blocks' walk from the Eaton Center, and a pleasant if rather longer walk from Chinatown, AGO, ROM. Food and drink options abound within a few minutes' walk. The restaurant/bar in the hotel is also good, though you will probably save money by walking down the street to the nearest pub a block...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
