Clean newly renovated room. Easy walk to Yonge and Dundas. Very inexpensive weekend parking one block away. Best grab what you want and eat in your room. Even though it was International Film Festival Weekend price was more than fair for downtown Toronto. Would definitely stay here again.

We had been for a full week, there is a plenty of parking option nearby.. the hotel is closest to many attractions and relative near from the yonge-dundas square..... It was fall winter, so walking to the square was not comfortable, but I believe besides the winter you can go for it.. with a nice and peaceful walk... (the room...

Family of 4 and a baby stayed here. We know by experience that any major city hotel is going to be on the small side unless you shell out a lot of money. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows are like sleeping on a cloud! Very clean rooms. Our room did not have a view. When looking out...

Nice little hotel. Breakfast nice but in small room downstairs, but you could take to your room. Staff ok and quite helpful. Location good if you want to walk around and explore a bit. Shower ok and room ok size. Modernish feel

It's clean and that's about as far as it goes. The rooms are adequate size and the beds comfy and clean. It's just small things like I'll fitting doors, baths that don't drain away very quickly. The real low point is the breakfast. The room is tiny and paper plates and plastic cutlery are just an insult. The food for...

This hotel is centrally located. With-in walking distance to many things as well as transit. This hotel has the slowest elevator in the city and they make fun of that fact. Take the stairs! The complimentary breakfast is OK and the staff is friendly. There is no parking on the property but is is available near by.

Not what I am used to from a facility to service point of view. No parking, Elevator was so slow. Room was very small. From a security issue, I parked up the street at the Ramada for $33.00 for the night. Felt like New York City downtown but worse! I am a Diamond member and this property is not the...

The hotel was located about 3 blocks away from Dundalk Square and the Toronto Easton Centre, which worked well for us. The hotel closet was probably under a foot wide, which I found funny. Our shower had no door and was a little weak and loud so it did not come to our pleasing but works for a short stay....

The location is right downtown and very convenient. We were greeted by a pleasant, caring receptionist. The hotel itself was small but the room was surprisingly large, very clean and newly decorated. The bedding was superior in quality and very comfortable. The free continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful hosted by a gracious housekeeping lady.

I had a wonderful time here in January. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. There was ample space for our belongings and I really liked the washroom as well. The sink outside was helpful as well along with a fridge and stove. I was able to heat up left overs which was so helpful. The bed was comfy. I...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
