Quiet, Clean, cheapest we could find at $100 + tax night. Exceptional. Took us 25 minutes to walk to CNN/ Steam Whistle. We love Asian food, so the 2 walk block for a breakfast under $15 is a plus. We're a younger couple so the 4 block proximity to the college campus.. aka $3 beers... is a plus. Otherwise, for...

Everything was outstanding: the owner was especially informative, kind and generous; the building was beautiful; the rooms were clean and large and the service was exceptional. I will definitely return if and when I am back in the area.

Beverly Place hit the spot. The guests were so interesting, Doctors without Borders , world travelled jazz pianist, and a mother waiting for her son to have a heart transplant. It is mere steps away from the Ontario Legislature, University of Toronto campus and a 25 minute walk away from the entertainment district. We had designed our own mini movie...

My wife and I are in Toronto regularly and we love staying here. The Beverley is our home away from home. The owner and staff is friendly and are always attentive to our needs. It is walking distance to Art Gallery of Ontario (great gallery) and the theatre district and LOADS of restaurants. Park your car (cheap, only about $10...

The only good thing about Beverley Place is the location. It is within walking distance to everything in downtown Toronto. It consisted of two houses across the street from each other. The rooms were very dark and did not have adequate lighting. Each person is supplied with one very thin ratty bath towel. The bath mat in the bathroom was...

I stayed at this B&B for 7 days while attending a conference in Toronto. The owner has two buildings facing each other on Beverley street. The location is quite good, a short walk to the Queen's Park subway station. I walked each day to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (about 15 - 20 minutes). There are several restaurants nearby and...

This B&B was a pleasant surprise on our arrival in Toronto: the elegant victorian house is furnished with authentic antiques of excellent taste, the house and the rooms are spotless clean, the breakfast was just a feast, the owner very friendly and helpful. We had a spectacular suite with private bathroom and terrace. We could sit out on the terrace...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Toronto's main Chinatown has the honor of being the largest in North America. Gaping down across Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, the area is a wonderful medley of shops and restaurants, busy signs and bright red gates, a destination for foodie fun. Chinatown's streets are always bustling, packed with people and outdoor stalls hawking fresh produce and products. The restaurants and authentic marketplaces that shoulder in against each other display shining roast ducks and menus studded with dumplings and noodle bowls. The air is pervaded with music. different languages, and the smell of fried food and mouth-watering desserts. Chinatown's restaurants represent a broad range of fare, from traditional Szechuan and Shanghai foods, to other Asian delicacies, including some of the top Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean spots in the city.
