Stayed in a one bedroom corner suite. For families like ours with 1-2 kids sleeping on the pull out sofa bed note there is no door between living area and bedroom which is unfortunate. Room service breakfast always arrived within 30 minutes and was perfect. Top notch service. Stunning outdoor bar for late night drinks with fun drink menu. We used the pool, nice warm salt water though the spa is very outdated (small and plastic) and should be replaced.
We were first timers to RC for a quick one night stay. Every staff member we encountered was helpful. They seemingly cared about guests’ wellbeing. Great hospitality! The room view of the CN tower was memorable. Rooms were clean which is always welcoming and one feels overall safer. The huge flower arrangement in the lobby was very pretty and “Wow”. Would definitely stay here again.
Having had reactions to the Pfizer shot I wanted to get a booster and Canada had approval! When I called around to ask for help people were clueless.. then I called the concierge team at the Ritz Carlton. Guillermo and the others I interacted with were just absolutely phenomenal. I have been to this hotel years prior so I knew it wasn’t brand new but it surely looked like it was! When I got to Canada the lobby the elevators the restaurants the bars all of it looked like it could be brand new all staffed with smiling faces! Being a little fearful of being in a country not knowing how the health system worked they walked me through it and got me a ride to the clinics that had the Novavax vaccine .. having made the trip alone they made me feel like part of a family. The breakfast and lunch very similar to what you would see in most Ritz-Carlton‘s. The hors d’oeuvres got me in the mood for a dinner! Everything was fresh and everything had a wonderful presentation a couple different times I saw the chef come out to make sure his stamp of approval was on it. Different nationalities were in the club serving and they all would put a smile on your face. I told them I definitely will come back. As you look out the window from the 20th floor you see the aquarium below and the water in the near background. From a sunset cruise to a dinner cruise to a tour of the aquarium they were ready to get you tickets and could tell you neat areas to walk and observe the city. It truly was a remarkable time I felt relieved they help me get my shot and I’m now back home where I miss them.. Sometime in the next couple of months I’m going to go back up the service was just that good!…
Hotel was great at communication prior to and during stay, and some of the staff often remembered our names throughout our brief stay - surprising in such a large facility. The hotel also recognized a birthday - unsolicited - a few times during the stay. Our room was very nice, if a bit cookie-cutter / standard, with a view of the CN Tower - though the window could have used some cleaning. The EPOCH restaurant has an excellent outdoor seating area, great food and service. The hostess did an outstanding job accommodating us and seating us outside. The hotel is right next to the convention center, which is probably both a plus and a minus. Short walk to CN Tower and lakefront. Overall, nice property and outstanding staff.
Not enough words available to share how much we loved this stay after splurging on our first time staying at the Ritz. Gorgeous property, taken over the top with service and a fantastic staff. From the moment you drop your car and are taken to check in you see the service in action and feel like the star of the show. Nobody was just going through the motions, everyone we encountered truly made us feel like they cared about our stay and wanted to make it the best it could be. Devin at check in, Marco in Toca at breakfast and Alexis in Epoch were standouts that helped make the trip truly memorable. Our family of 3, had a great getaway taking in a show in Toronto and the Ritz was the perfect spot to take the trip to the next level and made sure these memories will last a lifetime.
This hotel really was fantastic. Our room, 12th floor overlooking the lake, was so very comfortable and, more importantly, exceedingly quiet. The location allowed easy walks to St. Lawrence market and the distillery district as well as the theater. Many restaurants to choose from nearby as well.
Quick one night stay at the property - first time stay here. Check in was smooth, but I'd say the Marriott Platinum recognition was on the weaker side of things (no recognition at check in, no upgrades offered etc). However the room was nicely appointed (pretty standard RC style) and the staff were generally friendly. A solid experience but I would like to think there could be strong competition in the area with other 5* hotels as well
There surely are Ritzier Ritz around the world. Sometimes Marriott HQ needs to step in and change a brand to match the hotel. This Ritz is tired, the rooms are below average and the service is robotic. Character is lost when you walk into this lobby and it doesn’t get any better after that.
This hotel is all about the exceptional service from the bellman to housekeeping, to the front desk and beyond. It is clearly a well managed hotel that offers distinctive service. The staff were amazing in anticipating every potential need. The rooms are inviting, functional and very comfortable. The staff, including the restaurant's, were pleasant and very courteous. The food was excellent. You feel spoiled without pretentions. We hated to leave!!
One of the finest hotels in Toronto Canada! I was just in Canada recently for Father’s Day weekend and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto. And it was a very nice comfortable hotel. My room was nice, the room service was great, and the swimming pool was so much fun, I could even see the CN Tower from my hotel, especially from the pool area. Overall, great hotel, loved the smell of the hotel lobby, and I plan to come back! I totally recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a really nice hotel in Toronto. Especially cause I could easily walk to and from my hotel to and from other places. And god bless the people as well as Canadians are really nice people!
