Hockey Trip We came in for the Habs season openner against the Leafs. The hotel was walking distance (5min) from the train station and the arena (2min). It's a short taxi ride to the night sceen, but close to everything. tn

I stayed here for business. Wow! Very nice. It's close to several thing downtown and very beautiful. The room is nice with a great bed. The bathroom is also very nice. The only exception I have is that the lighting in the room is different. Trying to figure out how the lights worked isn't something I'm used to.

The rooms are designed to have a Euro feel complete with needing a keycard to keep the lights on. While it looks great it was not all that functional: the desk and chair were too close to the bed; you had to squeeze behind the arm chair to close the blinds; there is a mini bar but no fridge and...

This beautiful modern and clean hotel is literally steps away from the Union Station (where yo can take the subway and VIA train), the Air Canada Centre, the Rogers Centre, the aquarium, CN Tower, the harbour/ferry terminal, etc. The front desk staff is extremely professional and helpful especially Julian (a very nice and patient gentleman who helped me at check-in...

Different kind of review. I had mixed feelings about this place. I found the bar to be a little too bright for me. The gym was ok but a little small for a newer hotel. The room was ok but I was not crazy about the bathroom set up, with the sink and shower as it was. I would get...

Dear Mike B, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about your stay. I would like to apologize for the shortfalls throughout your stay. We did indeed have a major issue with one of our 2 main hot water tanks that took a full 36 hours to get the emergency work done and therefore affected 2 mornings....

This is one of the best boutique hotels in Montreal. When you get into your rooms, you will have a nice ambiance music, and extremely comfortable but soft bed. Service is very good but the key things is you are 2 steps from the Raptors court and a 5 minutes walk to the Skydome. The only downside is their WiFi...

Great hotel in a great location. Couple blocks to baseball park and Tower to the left and hockey to the right. Water front a couple blocks , Market a short walk. Hotel was a 10 , clean beautiful room , great staff, good quick breakfast . They even put ear plugs on the night stand in case the street noise...

Rooms spacious and funky, staff were super helpful and friendly, especially housekeeping on level 6 when I had a minor issue with the smell in my room. They went out of their way to find me an alternative and ensure I was comfortable. Hotel is central to ACC, Rogers centre and union station. The buzz there when games were on...

This hotel is beautiful from top to bottom. The rooms are huge. Loved the modern decor. Comfortable with all amenities you could want. Loved having the nespresso machine in room. Location is unreal, in the heart of all you want to see in Toronto. I was a little underwhelmed with the breakfast. Would have been nice to have some hot...

Dump your therapist and head to Play Lounge. Michael will change your life and he's not too bad with the jigger. Be sure to try his signature drink the Sloppy Vixen. If your rolling solo, bring a spruce up accessory because Michael is an accomplished Cupid. He introduced my friend to her husband. The night I was there, Michael gave...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
