We stayed here for 4 nights just recently. The location is great and very central to union station. The hotel itself was very slick and nice. Our room was very nice. The bathroom was huge which I appreciated with plenty of space. The shower was fiddly and the main shower head didn’t work properly. We didn’t bother to mention this as the 2nd shower head worked.. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The gym was a bit basic. Parking is right next door which is very convenient, but given it is in the CBD as expected was expensive. Overall was a great hotel and I would stay again.

We stayed in a signature suite. Great space, separate powder room and dining table. Sectional very uncomfortable and mattress needs to be replaced. Bathroom and especially shower is fabulous. Location wonderful, near Scotia Arena, blocks from Rogers, close to water. Loved the Bar Germain. Would return only when mattresses replaced, otherwise great staff, nice spaces, and great location.

The stay was really awsome, the staff was really kind professionnal and always open to our request. Kids friendly. In downtown close to eveything. Have a supermarket on the same building Makes all meals, fresh breakfast, lunch and diner. As well an LCBO and Starbuck. I love the fact they had many staff speak french it is a major plus for a hôtel name "Le Germain" ;) And one of the staff advice during the check on as they don't clean the Room every Day but finally our Room Bern cleaned every Day IT was a good surprise speacially when we have kids! thank so Much!

This was a very fancy experience for our mini-van driving family. We took advantage of the promotion allowing for a hotel stay plus admission to the Hockey Hall of Fame and Ripleys Aquarium. Because we are a family of 5, we did have to pay extra for the 5th admission ticket as well as a larger room that would accommodate a cot. The room was super spacious, even with a cot. The bathroom was the same size as the room. Awkward that the bathroom had a window that faced into the room area with mini-blinds. The beds were way too firm and the pillows were way too soft. The rooms was amazingly quiet even with ScotiaBank arena outside our window. We heard nothing from outside. The staff was all courteous and friendly. I had read on other reviews that breakfast was monitored by the employees but we were able to enjoy a full buffet breakfast. It was also part of our package. Breakfast included pasties, fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt, granola, eggs, sausage and bacon. We really enjoyed our stay as we were looking to leave our car and walk to all our touristy locations.

Dear 621tracyr, Thanks for reviewing us here on tripAdvisor. I am glad you and your family enjoyed your time with us and that our packing of the activities in the city made it convenient for you to enjoy those attractions. Thanks also for the shout out to our amazing team. Indeed, following some of the comments regarding our breakfast offer, we have made some changes to include the full buffet instead of just the continental as we as enhanced some of the offering. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it. We hope to be able to welcome you and your family again soon. Sincerely, Paul de La Durantaye General Manager

I have not travelled for over 2 years and this is my first travel since February 2020. This is my third time staying at this hotel. Nice staff, always greet you with a smile albeit with mask but you can see that they are smiling. My first room was a classic room but the wash basin had water flow problem so I requested another room the next day and they put me to a suite so it was a bonus. Even though it was a suite, the USB charger and power bar in room did not work but I did not bother to ask them to check. The breakfast was buffet and good but it was a bit strange that they charged you more when you ate “hot” food such as sausages and bacon. They better had a fixed price. I moved out and stayed at another hotel for several days and moved back to this hotel at a prestige room. It was good but the toilet paper holder was unbalanced so the toilet paper roll easily fell to the floor. The minor defects were annoying and they need to check their room carefully. However, the location of this hotel is excellent and close to UP express. You can walk to the hotel from UP express Union Station in 10 minutes. All things are nearby, restaurants, supermarket, CN tower, Scotiabank Arena and harbourfront. An ideal choice in downtown Toronto. I do recommend this place to everyone.

Dear kwang889, Thank you for taking the time to review us here on TripAdvisor. I apologize for the several small defects in the room and will follow up with our team. We have recently changed our breakfast procedure to have one full buffet instead of a cold or hot option. This has simplified the process for those who have breakfast included in the rate. Thanks again for all your positive comments and we hope to welcome you back soon. Paul de La Durantaye General Manager

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. It is the perfect location for the downtown area. You are literally 1 minute from union station and 5 minute walk to CN tower. They also have a grocery store downstairs in the PATH which had a variety of fresh foods, meats and essentials. I would compare it to better version of Fresh Market for my fellow US Citizens.

Train from Montreal was 2 hours late so we went into this hotel as we missed the check-in at the accommodation we had booked. Room and the bathroom was very spacious but it echoed in toilet as the floor and walls are tiled. Tap over the sink was just wrong type and too big: it was difficult to wash face. Beds were very comfortable! The breakfast policy was just unbelievable!!!I ’ve stayed in many business hotels, especially in Brussels and I have never experienced such an awful breakfast! We had a room with breakfast: the reception didn’t say anything about hotel’s breakfast policy. The thing is that basic room fee doesn’t include all that is served, like sausages and eggs. Also there was a host of waiters/waitresses keeping eye on you that you don’t take something that is not included into your ”breakfast”. Also empty plates and glasses were taken away from table as soon as possible even if I could have use it again.I ’d have wanted to have a peaceful breakfast and finish it without constant disturbance. My friend wanted to have a cappuccino which was served and it was a good cappuccino. When we were leaving the breakfast room, a waitresses run after us and said that cappuccino was not included into our breakfast and she has to pay for it. WTF!

Front desk staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Hotel style is modern and a bit sparse in the public areas. Our well-equipped room with a king bed was spacious and attractive, but style trumped practical with a night table 12 inches off the floor. Everything was clean. Toilet has a separate closet, so sink is out in the open. We found the bed to be comfortable. Our rate included breakfast continental buffet, which was adequate. Wifi worked well for our needs which did not include streaming.

So easy to get there from airport. Train takes you to the front of the hotel pretty much. Excellent staff, very clean and great little bar. The room was very well appointed and clean. 10 restaurants outside the door and a 5 minute walk to the various sport stadiums

I think this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been in a lot of hotels. Room layout is lovely, modern, fab shower, fab views. Bed was comfy. There is enough plugs and hooks and mirrors. (Often hotels get This wrong) Only gripe is the towels are a little small and not very many . Women like an extra towel for Their hair.
