I've stayed here before, and the first time was great with friends. Last night, tried to sleep in 201 and I was eaten alive-literally!! So many bed bugs came out and bit me. I woke up in the middle of the night, itchy, and seeing them crawl all over the bed. The moment I asked for a refund, the man...

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! I have stayed in many old hotels, but never have I ever seen a place like this, I think I am traumatized. Our first room had a crack pipe, pills and a used needle in the dresser drawer and our replacement room was filthy. The beds had dirty sheets with menstral stain as well as pee...

Im gonna make this short and sweet. Cocaroaches!! Pee stains!! Graffiti walls. Mold. Disgusting smells. Prostitutes next door. For 80/night, it's worth literally NONE of that. Absoutley disgusting. I wish I could add the eff word in between words just to emphasis just how disgusting this place is.

This place is disgusting. It looks like a place people go to die/get murdered/do drugs/pay for sex (maybe not even nice enough for that!!). The whole place smells like cigarettes, the ceiling looked like it was going to cave in, and the bathroom had about an inch of water on the floor. Wasted $80 and ended up walking out of...

Sometimes life is unusual! I was in Toronto! I don't know for what! Or, I know to much about it! After a night at The Québec's Germain (400$/night) I ended up at the Waverley, 45$/night! Kind of places a bit weird, very! But that night it was being sleeping on a bench's park or going to the Waverley! I'm a...

Have you ever watched a horror movie where the person is in a creepy place and thought " I wonder what it would feel like to actually be in that persons surroundings?". If so... AND ( you are interested in actually finding out).. just visit this dump. I have NEVER been in such a creepy place in my life. There...

The sign on the hotel says ‘Hotel Waverly’ (w/o the ‘e’) but their receipts say ‘Waverley Hotel’ (w/ the ‘e’). This hotel rents on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The hotel continuously has an ad in a local paper that says $600/mo. but if anyone asks the desk clerk, they will be told that those rooms are not available...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
