At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip
and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with
a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of

I go to Toronto monthly and end up in numerous downtown hotels. Doubletree is a good hotel centrally located. Nice rooms. Cafe. Good service. No complaints. Basic good business hotel. I’d stay there again.

Everything good you would expect from a Doubletree, however two things to be aware of. I incorrectly assumed parking was included and was never informed of such, and so I didn't even know until after I reviewed my bill. Secondly, the on site restaurant/bar was closed by 11. Aft

This hotel is average.. I wouldn’t class this as a 4/5 star hotel as the service they provide you isn’t that great, as you would expect something better “it’s Hilton” The food menu is really limited..
The good thing about this stay is the comfy bed :)

SO I exaggerate a ;little bit. It was a great place. Very warm and receiving when I entered. Staff greeted and promptly got me a comfortable room. Slept like a ROCK. Very close to lots of things to do, and was real close to where I needed to be. Short 15 minute walk from Uni

Stayed in hotel for 2 nights and it is steps from the Eaton Centre and a nice walk to the Entertainment District. Had a warm cookie upon check-in with 2 bottle of water and another 2 bottles of water waiting for me in my room.

The best part of the hotel was view of the CN tower!
Construction from all windows.
Mold all over shower.
Horrible construction starting at 5:30AM, workers trucks, talking, could hear everything. The poles sounded like cannons going off every 30 seconds.

Does the hotel have a wheel in shower room for guests that need to use a wheelchair?
Our room was not a wheelchair-accessible room. I would think they have some of those rooms. The hotel was well-equipped in every way from our perspective.

Is it pet friendly?
Sorry I’m unsure. When I was there both times I didn’t see or hear any.

Is it pet friendly?
Anyone know how much a taxi or Uber would cost to get to the zoo? Thanks in advance.
I do not know the answer but I assume a fair bit as its quite the drive from the downtown CORE. I am certain though if you look around there is surely an effective means of transportation.

Hi , Which suite(with kitchen) would have a view of CN tower and downtown area .. any idea anyone ? Website mentions a lot of suites and is confusing !!
You can always request for the suite with CN tower views at the time of booking . If you already booked and use the Hilton app on a mobile device , you can view the floor plans of any Hilton brand hotel you have under your upcoming stays. When you are allowed to check in, usually you are allowed to choose or change rooms/suites. The floor plan map can be expanded to include its orientation to the city map so you will know what street your windows may be facing .

"I liked the higher floors, great view of the city"
"We had a room high up, which made for a nice view."
"Try to get a room away from construction? Not sure if possible!"
"Nice view from high floors--but street sounds reach it, too"
"If construction is still happening next door - ask for a very high floor on the other side of the building."
