Stayed for just one night and enjoyed it. It took me a while to find it but once you know the right exit off the DVP, it's OK, and quick to drive downtown. You will need a car however. And anything in this price range downtown is not nearly as decent. The heated floor in the bathroom is a nice...

Checked in and was given room on 3rd floor. Elevator seemed to be broken so we took the stairs. Hallway smelled a little funky. Room was disgusting, old, smelly, blood stains on sheets, washroom vanity was made of wood and was splintering, toilet had yellow rust stains. Pros for this room- no one had vacuumed in a while so we...

Recently planned a conference here for my work and couldn't believe how disorganized the management were. Had to send the contract five times as they had numerous errors and hidden fees. After the banquet I had to call three times and speak to management for a reciept after they had charged our credit card and being over a month later....

I'm familiar with this hotel from back when it was a Holiday Inn. It was a very high-end establishment at one time. Overall, it's a bit dated and they are currently undertaking renovations. While there are some deficiencies (elevators not in the best working order and some deterioration to the building structure), it remains a decent place to stay. Although...

The service is quite commendable I find. This time out it happened that my room had no balcony. A quick call to the desk and I was swept to an upgraded room with a heated bathroom floor, and of course, a balcony. Pleased with their expedience in resolving my issue of course, but I saw no value to a heated...

Stayed here for one night while attending concert for Bonnie Raitt. Our room was on the third floor. The room was large and modernized except for the carpet which looked as if it had not be cleaned or vacuumed in ages. Nice easy chair for reading but no table beside for coffee etc. All four pillows on the bed were...

This is not the first time I have stayed here. It is always a pleasant experience. I do enjoy the indoor pool. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. I also appreciate that windows can be opened for fresh air. My only complaint and it is minor is that the meals in the bistro seem quite high....

I purchased the "Romance" Package for a gift for my son and his girlfriend. It was to be both a relaxing day and night from University exams (finally finished) and first experience in a major hotel in the city with a trip to the science centre. The hotel package boasted a chilled bottle of wine, truffles and in room breakfast....

The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed on two separate occasions in the past week and both times I booked the room directly with the hotel over the telephone. The girl on the telephone was very pleasant and helpful and actually remembered speaking with me the second time I called to book again. Very impressive. They allow dogs...
