This hotel is very modern and very clean! The location couldn't be better. The check in was fast and I really like how you need your room key to access the front door after a certain a time, the added security is nice! The only downfall is the price of parking. But overall, we loved our room and the experience!

Two-night stay. Positives (1) Got a great deal for late-April in downtown Toronto by booking with a travel agent. (2) Well located just one block away from subway and streetcar. Walking distance to Eaton Centre shopping mall. (3) Room and bathroom had been renovated and felt fresh and clean generally. However, see issues below. Issues (1) Bed mattress was too...

Did the Courtyard as a Platinum member, and was upgraded to a suite. It was very good, great bed and clean rooms. No surprises, even with high standards. The HVAC had some noise, but was not a problem. Every room had its own thermostat. Met or exceeded my expectations for a courtyard.

The hotel was in a good location and it was fairly clean, although the elevators could stand to be cleaned and the carpets replaced. Our room was decent and relatively big, but not very well lit (that's just my personal preference though). My main problem with the place was the sink. The facet was situated in such a way that...

Really friendly staff, nice big room and the restaurant food is good. The hotel itself could do with an update but it's in a great location and is good value for money. The French toast for breakfast is certainly worth ordering!

Check in was quick and easy, lady at reception was very nice. Our room was in the North Tower on the 9th floor. There was a comfortable chair with footstool as well as a computer chair. The bed was too soft for my liking. Bathroom area had a disfunctional layout. The toilet and bathtub were in one room. The toilet...

I was actually booked for the week at another Hotel, and somehow they botched my reservation and told me i had to leave the hotel on Wednesday, but I could come back Thursday thru Sat. I stayed here as part of the tour of the Eastern cities, good location with most of the sites of Toronto within walking distance (or a short taxi ride if necessary) Modern, well equipped rooms, clean and comfortable.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
