I had checked into this hotel as my husband had an appointment at the Toronto General Hospital. The outcome of the appointment was he had to have emergency surgery. I booked the room for 3 nights and informed them at check in that I may require an extra night. The very nice gentlemen who checked me in said that he...

The hotel has an exit on Yonge St, just turn right and you are a few steps from Dundas square, Toronto's "time square" a vibrant lively place to soak up the atmosphere of a Toronto evening. There is a great shopping mall here to. The hotel is large, but the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are spacious...

I was in Toronto for less than 24 hours and I booked a room at the Chelsea through a third party booking sight. When I arrived the hotel did not have a record of my reservation. First of all, let me start off by saying that I've stayed here before and never had a negative experience in general. I've been bouncing between here and the holiday inn downtown toronto for the past 3 weeks as I've been up here for work. In general my last stay was ok, however, my floor had some party guests who...

The best thing about Eaton Chelsea is the convenience to walk to so many things in downtown Toronto. The room was adequate with good city view. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
