I have never written a review of anything before but my stay was so unsatisfactory that I am writing one now. Cleaning staff were talking loudly and cleaning outside my room and in adjacent rooms for three hours late at night and they were being so loud that I did not get to sleep until they moved on which was...

while the rooms weren't special, the staff was great and the location is awesome. We stayed there 4 days and walked everywhere we wanted to go in the city. Adding on parking was a good value as it was $5 / day versus paying $32 a day, so make sure you get the 'drive and stay' package.

I stayed here for business and it was a nice hotel-had a late check in which went seamlessly, and had the buffet breakfast in the morning before a meeting. The room was comfortable and I appreciated the large patio door that opened for some fresh air. In my opinion the only downside was that they had no room service after...

My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Chelsea Hotel for a one night get-a-way and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. We were upgraded to an EClub room and enjoyed the Eclob Lounge. The staff at the Chelsea Hotel are very helpful and pleasant. I will definitely come back.

the only positive in this hotel compare to its prices is just the location & offered free wifi internet. Old hotel with bad smell, no complimentary water, no tissues in the room!!! Doesn't worth the value. It should a price for 3 stars hotel.

I stayed at the Eaton Chelsea using their medical rate for an overnight appointment for my son. The location is very handy for walking to the nearby hospitals - so I checked in and parked then we walked to his appointment. He had to stay overnight for tests - so he returned in the morning and showered. Very convenient, as...

it was a nice place and people were friendly but it was too expensive. i pay $160 a night, and i still have to pay $15/each for breakfast. It seemed as if you werent rich, then it wasnt worth it. the internet kept turn on and off as well. no good signal and rooms were small.

Location. That's the best thing about the Chelsea. Located a block from Eaton Centre and a subway stop it's in the middle of downtown. The hotel itself is an aging building that doesn't seem to have been remodeled. The room was small, not that it matters because I was only there to sleep. I faced Gerrard St on the 11th...

The hotel overall is ok, it is very busy and close to Ryerson University, which was perfect as I had to be there all the time. Hower in the weekends it is very loud, it seems like a complete different audience is entering the hotel. Very annoying for your sleep as guests seem to be very loud and think they...

the wife and i met our friends from Australia for a 7 night stay here, our first room was on a low floor so the receptionist put all of us in different rooms on a much higher floor so we had a view, the staff were very friendly and helpful rooms were big and clean with comfortable beds, ideal location...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
