I stayed here for one night while in Toronto to see a concert and go to the Ripleys Aquarium. The studio was equipped with hot plate, kitchenette, microwave and full size fridge, flat screen tv, air con and queen bed. I got a deal off Hotwire and paid 63.00. You can't beat the price. The room was clean, beds comfortable,...

Where do I begin? Arriving at reception to find the lady behind the desk watching videos on the computer should have been a give away that this was not the place to stay. Not to mention the neighbourhood this hotel is in. We were given a room and proceeded to the old elevator. (You have to press a button to...

Studio 6 is located in Chinatown, just south of the great Kensington Market area and within walking distance of AG)--the Art Gallery of Toronto. Their is adequate paid parking next to the hotel. While the room was small, it had all the amenities we needed--a large refrigerator with freezer, a stove top, microwave, sink, dishes and flatware, Keurig coffeemaker with...

First of all the location is perfect! Steps away from Queen St west where there is lots of action! The rooms were very "metro" clean and even had kitchenettes! Sorry but I don't even think that the Sheraton downtown has a fridge when we went! Beds were super comfortable (even for twins) Front desk was friendly and informative. Will definitely...

It is hard to figure out where to start reviewing this place. They advertise their rooms as recently renovated, but fail to mention that the renovation was done very cheaply and quickly. There are gaps between the laminate on the floor and between the appliances and the furniture. It just looks like someone that did the renovation did not care...

1) the location & neighborhood are not appealing (i spite of being closed to attractions) 2) they want a deposit which expire... a week after you leave 3) TV did not work in one room, and also not in a room they try to move us to. 4) smell of cigarettes etc. Do yourself a favor and avoid it

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Toronto's main Chinatown has the honor of being the largest in North America. Gaping down across Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, the area is a wonderful medley of shops and restaurants, busy signs and bright red gates, a destination for foodie fun. Chinatown's streets are always bustling, packed with people and outdoor stalls hawking fresh produce and products. The restaurants and authentic marketplaces that shoulder in against each other display shining roast ducks and menus studded with dumplings and noodle bowls. The air is pervaded with music. different languages, and the smell of fried food and mouth-watering desserts. Chinatown's restaurants represent a broad range of fare, from traditional Szechuan and Shanghai foods, to other Asian delicacies, including some of the top Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean spots in the city. Whether you're in the mood for a sit-down tea house or a bubble tea to go, Chinatown is the spot to enjoy an exciting walk and the promise of leaving satisfied.
