Stayed there before new years eve, so much to do for kids. I indoor/outdoor pool was fun. I wish the hot tub was working though, it looks like they were rebuilding it. I would say though ask for a high floor otherwise you can hear the downtown streetnoise and sirens

The Sheraton Centre is centrally located to many attractions. It is also connected to the Toronto underground shopping centers which is convenient if the weather is inclement. The rooms were remodeled in 2012 or 2013 so they are modern. I travel there often and I am generally pleased with the service. There always seems to be long line to check-in...

I travel to Toronto monthly for business, and stay at this location on a regular basis. The staff are very friendly, rooms are clean, and the property has recently undergone a significant renovation that has rejuvenated much of the facility. Beds are always very comfortable, and provides me a great sleep. The indoor/outdoor pool is huge, and well maintained. My...

Hotel is well located and my room had a great view. Staff was very friendly at both check-in as well as in the hotel restaurant (there are at least two). Bed was extremely comfortable, but this was a "new" bed and at check in it was suggested that some rooms did not have new beds. They are supposed to email...

Rude check in staff. Such a big hotel, the service was not personalised by any of the staff. Every interaction, from check in to concierge, was about getting to the next person as opposed to assisting you. Upgraded to a one-bedroom suite. Room was huge, but very tired looking. Lounge on the top floor had exceptional views, but a very,...

This hotel is quite an old one but located on the best location in Toronto. We were here during Christmas holiday. Our kids loves it as the famous toronto outdoor ice skating is just across the street. And it's also the centre of new years eve fireworks celebration. Too bad we were not stay here until new year. It's connected...

Just wanted to say thank-you to Marc the front desk agent, he made me feel very special on my birthday and is a great asset to your hotel. Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
