Hotel is clean, friendly service, room was presentable, free breakfast was well stocked with a variety of items and the location of the hotel is good within short walking distance to CN Tower, Ripley Aquarium, Air Canada center and a myriad of eateries/pubs. Good value for the money.

Chose to stay at this hotel due to it's location in downtown - close to many things and easy to walk to and from locations such as St. Lawrence Market, Toronto Eaton Centre, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and the Air Canada Centre. I had stayed once prior and enjoyed my stay. The breakfast at the hotel is free, good assortment...

Less than 5 minutes from the famous St Lawrence Food Market and an easy walk to the CN Tower and other major attractions. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city's Financial District so excellent for workers visiting the city too. The Reception staff are really helpful, informative and friendly and the rooms were kept spotless. The breakfasts had...

We booked this hotel based on the price and location. We wanted a branded hotel in a location which would allow us to explore Toronto and many of its locations such as the Eaton Centre, St Lawrence Market, Distillery District and CN Tower. It proved a good choice as we were able to reach all of these locations on foot...

I always like to stay in Holiday Inn Express hotels across the U.S. Their prices are affordable, and the breakfast is a huge plus. The hot breakfast is always stocked with eggs, bacon, sausages, breads, yogurts, fruits, juices, cereal, and more! This hotel is really convenient located in downtown Toronto. It's only two blocks away from St Lawrence Market. There...

Initially planned to bring my dog with me, so I booked here. This hotel is lower in price due it not being on the doorstep of downtown, but as a former Torontonian, it is RIGHT downtown to me. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
