It’s draft season. Had a choice between four top-ranked prospects: the Intercontinental, the 4 Seasons, the Hazelton or the Windsor Arms. It’s like reading scout reports (from our experts at TA) about hyped (?) all-stars (!) from the same conference. Picked the Park Hyatt. No. It did not bust my budget. And so far my stay had been… right on...

The location is perfect. It is located in a very upscale neighborhood, I loved it. The rooms could be better though, some other hotels in Toronto have more modern ones, though this hotel has other ammenities. I didn't like that they don't have complimentary breakfast.

This is our go to hotel when staying in Toronto. Impeccable service starting right at the front drive when the valet service greats you. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. Exceptional spa in hotel, wonderful restaurant with options for all dietary needs.

The staff at the hotel have worked there for years. I know many of them by name. It has a comfortable feel in every aspect and has a terrific location. The meeting space is varied and well supported. The spa and exercise facilities are very good. This has been my hotel of choice for many years.

Two nights at this hotel. Room was big. The only negative was that the two beds were doubles instead of queens. The room could have easily handled queen beds. The staff more than made up for it. Every person we encountered was top notch. Most notably was Max at the concierge he took care of everything we asked for, better...

A bit higher priced than competitors and I'm not sure why. Rooms, while spacious, were run of the mill. The staff were friendly. Located in a great neighbourhood with upscale shopping nearby. Food was expensive, room service was very expensive

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
